We need right wing Klaus Schwab, a Machiavellian big brain with the will and vision to remake the world in a fundamentally different way
Problem with American conservatism-right wingism is that it wants to return to something that is beyond reach or cannot exist instead of plotting a course into the future
"We gotta return to 1776/classical liberalism/republicanism"
No you're not and you can't even if you wanted to, but you can draw inspiration from the things previous generations thought were worth fighting and building for
Stop complaining about FDR and become FDR
Stop complaining about how progressives care about power and learn to take it and consolidate it and use it
Even if you want something as mild as basic order, rule of law, etc, getting there requires an entirely different kind of leadership and politics and mentality than what American conservatives understand

This is why the notion of cancel culture as understood by conservatives is wrong. People should be canceled, what matters is who is doing the canceling and why
As a former communist, Sidney Hook argued that members of the Communist Party USA (and others) could be ethically barred from public office because their goal was ultimately replacing the existing order with their own. Conservatives today don't understand self-defense like this
In Texas, libraries show hardcore gay porn to children. This is what your tax dollars are subsidizing in a "red state."
This follows a Kentucky school's “Man Pageant” where male students were encouraged to give lap dances to male teachers, the principal, and a county mayor.
The professionalization and credentialization of journalism was a mistake
Pretty ironic: journalism is supposed to be a check on institutional corruption so what happens when it becomes an institution in its own right, just as susceptible to corruption and interests?
The United States is the first and only country in history that has made discriminating against, marginalizing, and ultimately replacing its core demographic a deliberate policy goal and you're not allowed to talk about this except to celebrate it
That should generate... more discussion
Also unique in that it has convinced a good portion of the people this affects that it's a good thing or somehow not an unusual goal
The GOP in Texas has created the conditions that will ensure the Democratic Party's rise to power in the state. And much of that Texas GOP mindset has transferred into the official MAGA movement via Brooke Rollins' Texas Public Policy Foundation-America First Policy Institute
Everything that Texas Republicans are doing now is a rear guard action, an attempt to shore up in response to a time bomb they created. How else did the Democratic Party's electoral power sneak into the state? Republicans allowed it to happen
A lot of what conservatives perceive as Biden's "failures" are actually Biden and his wing getting what they want, i.e. the border. Biden hasn't failed there, Democrats are steadily increasing their electorate
Biden has "failed" at handling the pandemic in the sense that the economy is slower to recover but he has successfully convinced his supporters that the unvaccinated and the non-compliant are kulaks, thus empowering the federal government to treat them like domestic terrorists
Conservatives think in dollar signs, the other side thinks in terms of transforming institutions
