Congress used state agencies, including the CBI to protect the guilty. When guilty went in front of courts it bent the judiciary to its will to either acquit them or delay decisions or to minimize sentences.

Congress, with Gandhis at the helm handsomely rewarded those who helped it execute the genocide. If they were not made cabinet ministers, they were given high posts within the party management/executive. Kamal Nath was once touted as the one to lead Congress in Pb elections.

That was before he was appointed by the Gandhis' Congress as CM of Madhya Pardesh. Congress and Gandhis have always protected their foot soldiers, they always will. Anyone who is surprised/shocked by it hasn't been paying attention.
