Yoga and meditation teacher @claradayh on 'Ayurveda': Ayurveda is the science of life and its aim is to promote balance in our mind, body, and spirit. It is the close cousin of yoga and meditation.

@claradayh .@claradayh: Ayurveda is also a holistic approach to wellness. It highlights the importance of digestion and nutrition as well. So in the morning, the recommended time (for breakfast) is 8-9am and we must eat light meals at this time because our digestive fire is still weak.
@claradayh .@claradayh: The recommended time for lunch time is 12pm to 1pm and this is the time we out our main meal because our digestive fire is strong
@claradayh .@claradayh: And come dinner time, that's around 6pm to 7pm, eat very lightly. Don't consume any food at least three hours before bedtime, which is at 10pm, as recommended by Ayurveda.
