The Ancient Lore of Adam Kadom derives from the most ancient strata of Jewish mysticism. The most relevant come from the intersection of Judaism, Hermeticism, Zoroastrianism & Islam; from the ancient city of Harran & Babylon once called Chaldea, then Mesopotamia & now Iraq.
According to the Kabbala, as according to the Zendavesta, all that exists has emanated from the source of the Infinite Light.

In the beginning of ALL, the 1st creation was a configuration of primordial light-energy with the "shape" of a human. This configuration was the archetypal pattern for all that followed. The pattern of light-energy has many names. Most common, Adam, simply means "human being".
In Kabbalah a "well-known" secret name for this energy is IHVH or YHVH-ALHIM.
This Adam is not an actual human being, but a primordial light-energy-pattern, Primordial Adam Kadom or Man of Light, or Anthropos is used. This Adam was the 1st emanation of an unknowable 1st cause.

The Primordial Adam is dual and androgenous - that is, considered in terms of human biology, Primordial Adam is neither male nor female, but both. The light-energy-Adam is dual, and as a consequence of its duality, it is demiurgic, and it manifests worlds of duality.
Because light-energy-Adam is the archetypal pattern for ALL that exists, knowledge of Adam - eyes, ears, nose, lips, arms, fingers, torso, penis, legs - conveys great mystical power. One might use it, i.e., to create a body of light for the soul, so that it might survive death.
The Human Soul is composed of parts from each of the FOUR Worlds. From Asiah it gets the Nephesh, or seat of the physical appetites; from Jezirah the Ruach, Seat of the passions, from Briah the Neshamah/ reason, from Aziluth obtains the Chaiah, the principle of spiritual life.
The Inner Man is made up of FOUR Constituents, but these are supplied by the rebellious Æons of the Sphere, being the Power (Particle of the Divine 🕯️: "Divinæ Particula Auræ") yet left in themselves; the Soul "formed out of the tears of their 👀 & the sweat of their torments."
