Over 250m Nintendo accounts, plus 32m Nintendo Switch Online paying members. I was think it would have hit 37m by now so seems low versus the 26m as of Sept 2020.
Nintendo will be expanding its game development capability by up to US$900m, non-game by US$450m (more movies etc) and expand relationship with consumers US$2.7bn (theme parks, stores etc). Big numbers for sure. Doubling down with the Switch cash

A: Seeing little bit of an impact, reviewing designs to reduce the impact on the business 1)
Q: What can you say about the 20xx next gen device?
A: Nothing can say, Switch think is in middle phase of cycle, now have OLED and momentum continues with wide variety of software line-up. 2)
A: On next gen, we are not saying right now, we are still going through internal discussion on concept, timing etc and discussing everything 3)
Q: Super Mario movie, are there other movies to come?
A: Super Mario Film is pretty much done, working on the last bit, have a very good feeling about it, but we are very careful not to betray customers and meet expectations, continue to work to polish the movie. 4)
A: Would like to roll out with other IPs for movies etc, people should experience IP in variety of wats. But going one by one, not say doing many IP movies at same time. - Miyamoto answered.
Q: Will IP sales be contact point or generate profits?
A: We create characters in games, creates affinity with users and try not to have over exposure. Priority is dedicated game device, objective is for IP to drive interest in games. 6) - end :)
