Watched #JaiBhim. Excellent attempt from Director @tjgnan & @Suriya_offl in recreating a true incident from March 1993. Performance of @jose_lijomol as #Sengeni takes the cake in the entire movie. I also read Order of R.Parvati vs State of Tamil Nadu(H.C.P. No. 711 of 1993) (1) 
delivered by Hon. Justice Shivraj Patil & Justice Mishra on 01-08-1994. Tam #JaiBhim has spent lot of time on research & recreation of true incidents. I would say it as one of the courageous, bold & gut-wrenching Tamil movie. The major controversy around the movie now is (2)
portrayal of SI Gurumoorthy as Vanniyar. But, Anthonisami(then SI of Kammapuram PS) is the culprit who murdered Rajakannu. Communist Leader Govindhan who fought this case for 11 years says people who fought for the justice are majorly Vanniyars. (3)
No idea of Anthonisamy's community. Only Vanniyar link I can find is the house from where the gold is stolen. He is Kadirvel Padayachi of Gopalapuram Village. That's the reason SI is portrated as Vanniyar? No idea. Could've avoided this gaffe in an otherwise brilliant movie. (4)
Also no idea why actual year 1993 is 1995 in #JaiBhim. Political Stand: that Irulars are neglected so badly under the alleged Self Respect Dravidian Rule since 1967 is something that Dravidian politicians should own up & be ashamed of. No passing bucks to Delhi or Brahmins. (5/5)
