This video clip of one of the Grenfell Tower women talking #Meghan asking her about her dreams is living rent-free in my head. She currently has a catering business, and she is also contributing to her community. #PrincessMeghan did this in 18 months.
When Meghan moved to the UK in 2017, her goal was to royal work. Prior to her wedding, she connected with the Grenfell Tower women and visited them for 9 months. The women, with the help of Meghan, published a cookbook to help open the Hubb Community Kitchen 7 days a week.
The UK media were unaware of Meghan and the Grenfell Tower women working together for 9 months. They were informed of the project on the day that the cookbook was published. The women are still benefiting from that project. That's how you make an impact.👏 😌 ✨️

I am doing a thread on #MeghanMarkle using her platform to empower women. When #MeghanMarkle moved to the UK, she met the Grenfell Tower women who lost family and from from a fire. Her in-laws give thoughts and prayers. Meghan empowered the Grenfell Tower women.
Some of the women were able to start their own business, because #MeghanMarkle used her platform to help them accomplish their goals.
#MeghanMarkle also used her platform to help women going back to work through a charity organization called Smart Works.
