There’s a narrative that someone “like me” can’t mobilize a multiracial working-class coalition. After hearing this for the 100th time (mostly from political elites), it’s now obvious to me the people who believe that are actually the ones who can’t get passed their own biases

I showed up to a strike against Stericycle on Friday morning and got a full download from workers about the issues they were facing and how Stericycle is screwing them over by increasing their healthcare costs.

I then went on the Rise and Grind Morning Show on @the419Grind which targets a slightly different demographic and talked about the @Teamsters strike.

I later attended a meet and greet that was made up largely of young people and women. And we had a whole discussion about it and encouraged everyone to keep up the pressure in their circles.

Ohio: We’re only going to win for our communities by letting go of the biases that political elites harbor and instead start writing our own chapter!
