From what was released in the press by Sitharaman et al, BJP’s National Executive’s stand on Bengal was amusing and is further confirming the thesis of Modi-Mamata collusion. It went out of its way to shield Mamata & would worsen BJP’s prospects in WB. Thread:
Nadda, Sitharaman, Pradhan did BJP cadres a favor by acking the post poll violence on them&said they would ensure justice through courts. Do they realize how long courts take?Why are Modi, Shah still silent? Elephant in the room: why weren’t Mamata even mentioned in the context?
The religious and the role of Dudhel Gais in this post poll violence was completely omitted by central BJP. Shame on them! It would have been better if they had just remained silent. This applies salt on the wounds of the victims.
Central BJP just gave a pat in the back for increasing BJP’s strength from 3 to 77 in VS. No soul searching, no review. But how can they ? A review would expose the roles of central BJP, & RSS darlings like Vijaybargia, Menon,Dilip Ghosh&the role of the delay in implementing CAA.
Again one of the most remarkable feats of VS 21, defeat of Mamata was omitted. But how can Mamata be reminded of her humiliation? After all she is the dear sister of the supremo. And then thanks to the Mamata special bypoll, that gain has been bartered away.
Note how there has been no mention of how BJP had landslide loss in the bypolls. Yes, ruling party has an advantage in the bypolls, but this much? Losing deposit in 3/4. But any analysis of such losses would expose Modi’s role in it,specifically price rise & Modi-Mamata collusion
I suspect that the memo about how Modi’s collusion with Mamata is doing BJP in in WB & for nothing, because Mamata won’t cut any vote of Cong outside WB, has reached BJP HC. They want to omit all such mentions at any cost. Hence the silence on bypolls.
Central BJP is delusional enough to think that just Modi’s name would give them 25 LS seats in WB ! Unless they enact CAA, which I don’t think they will, they will find out the hard way. BJP voters will stay at home & Modi’s dear sister will do the rest through chappas.
