Those obsessed with the stern merkined one's investigation into FISA abuse re Steele should remember that FISAs are to investigate espionage as (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) and the Office of the Inspector General has been down this road before. justice.gov/storage/120919…
There was deep suspicion that specific members of Trump's team were not only in contact with foreign agents (aka spies) but might even be getting paid by them with the end state being infiltration and manipulation of our government. justice.gov/nsd-fara/frequ…
Turns out that the FBI was correct. They just didn't shoot high or wide enough. Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner had sent a friend Rick Gerson to the Seychelles to set up a "back channel" with Putin. motherjones.com/politics/2020/…
In many cases spies are already being targeted. If they talk to a U.S. citizen then it's fair game. Kushner not only explored deals with Putin but quickly strong armed Qatar and cozied up to MBS and MBz. The Dunham investigation ignores Jared's role in foreign espionage.
The Steele Report was one of many sources used by the FBI to begin the investigation into foreign espionage, influence and bribery. They just haven't gone far enough. Why Because Barr blocked them. reuters.com/article/us-usa…
Some cases like George Nader's were written to focus on Clinton campaign, some like Prince's were slow rolled, others were so egregious they caught leaders of nations in the trap. It has taken a long time to get back on the case but justice grinds forward. thebulwark.com/thomas-barrack…
The Barr/Dunham investigation is trying to blame the investigators instead of the centralized criminality of the Trump family. Trying to project the idea of being "set up" and avoiding the Russia/UAE/KSA bribery/influence run by Jared. Why not investigate the Abraham Accords?
The Abraham Accords not only injected billions of dirty money into the Trump crime family but resulted in the worst case scenario: The UAE deciding to dump the U.S. and hire Wagner to to their dirty work in Africa, Europe and the Middle East. A criminal cabal that was unthinkable
The media and to a certain extent the FBI uses the 2016 framework of "potential foreign influence" and then ODs on the lists of nations and individuals who penetrated the White House to shape policy. It's much worse if you you look backwards from today.
It didn't help that Trump tried to violently overthrow our government. He had a lot to loose. The Abraham Accords were just the beginning. He had stripped troops from conflicts worldwide, enabled money laundering, stayed out of regional conflicts. He was being a good vassal.
Thankfully somebody handed the Biden administration a large dossier. They are currently looking in all the right places and privately bitch slapping all the right people. The downside is that petrodictators and regional strongmen aren't our friends anymore. It's a fine line.
Petrodictators buy our weapons, Israel has massive influence amongst our politicians. Russia can choke off the UE in fifteen minutes. China is laughing their ass off. We haven't formed a policy to deal with this new matrix. But we are watching democracy vanish.

Week Two of Defuckerize America. The most obvious candidate for imminent defuckerization is Steve Bannon (Go USPS!). He needs a Lifetime Achievement Award for "Worst Single Collection of Things Called Films" and best "Before" Homeless Makeover Model. thedailybeast.com/i-watched-all-…
"Justice officials say they expected criticism over the delay in making a decision on the Bannon criminal referral, Garland has established a methodical approach to making decisions, aware that the department will be criticized no matter which way it goes."cnn.com/2021/11/06/pol…
Speaking of people telling the DoJ to stick it. Sam Nunberg (how quickly we forgot "The Full Nunberg") explains why Trump needed the right wing junk news crowd and the evangelicals in his camp. And yes he relented and testified.

Apparently travel is back. Although I can guarantee you is going to much less fun that it used to be during the pandemic. It should also be time for listicles on "Dangerous Places" and "Forbidden Places". news.com.au/travel/destina…
Bored interns are tasked with googling things that seem dangerous with no apparent knowledge whether they are safe or not. For example none of these listicle places are actually dangerous. traveltriangle.com/blog/most-dang…
Not to be outdone, this blog goes all the way to "incredibly dangerous". Reality? there are group travel packages to all these nations. Yes even Afghanistan and Syria. explorersweb.com/2021/01/05/the…

Week one in #Defuckerize America. Is someone finally letting the stink out? Go team. cnbc.com/2021/11/06/fbi…
It's not just about a diary. It is most likely about a coordinated effort to attack, blackmail and degrade the authority of elected or appointed U.S. officials. Many of the individuals in this week's activities have direct links to towhead. theweek.com/speedreads/982…
FYI. For every new indictment story about how terrible and uncredible people are....there is always an older Trump story. Image

Researchers from the University of Bath and York St John University found that, since the 1980s, millennial's obsession with perfection has increased by a third, which they blame on the impact of neoliberal economics. Say What? apa.org/pubs/journals/…
Neoliberialism. A 19th century idea that has destroyed many nations and built others. An idea that "maintains that “the market” delivers benefits that could never be achieved by planning." AKA stupid greedy people in charge. Where else is this being used? theguardian.com/books/2016/apr…

Trump's links to Israeli/Russian gangsters are solid. You could do an entire dossier on how concrete, the mob and Trump tower. Or on the Gulf Arabs and Trump or on the Ukraine and Trump. The problem was Steele's focus was on gossip from Russia to prove Trump a sleaze bag.

Saw a depressing but informative 2018 documentary by a Scotsman about the Ku Klux Klan. It would have been hard to believe that 30,000 klansmen marched down Pennsylvania Avenue on August 8, 1925 but it happened. A lot of Klan narratives still exist. gettyimages.com/detail/video/l…
"Who Put the Klan Into Ku Klux Klan" is on Prime. Hosted by archaeologist and historian Neil Oliver. Oliver's goal is to explore the Scottish origins of the group and its morphing into a violent racist group. His outsider view of America is valuable.
You can see the mass hysteria of a fictional foe that we see today. Often with violent consequences. Definitely worth a watch. history.com/news/kkk-birth…
