To celebrate @FountainPenDay , I can say that all your years learning about gunnery, riflery and the like naval trades helped me repair my late mother's 1980s Dunhill fountain pen, which writes very well again. #fountainpenday

General Douglas MacArthur took the Japanese surrender on USS Missouri on 02 Sep 1945. MacArthur had ex-POW Generals Percival (Singapore) & Wainwright (Philippines) also sign for the Allies. MacArthur used various pens including his wife Jean's Parker fountain pen #fountainpenday
