Lebron James is now the first active basketballer to become a billionaire.

NBA stars get paid millions of dollars yearly and still end up broke after retirement.

This is proof that cash alone doesn’t make you wealthy, building ownership does. There are people who make a lot of cash and blow it up.

In fact, if you get a lot of money and don’t convert it to ownership - you will be broke one day. Guaranteed.

What do I mean?

Let us look at Lebron James’s investments (what he owns)

2% stake in Liverpool FC (The team is valued at nearly $2.2 billion, with $613 million in annual revenue as of 2019)

James has his own production company, SpringHill Entertainment, and media company, Uninterrupted.

I call this method “The Clinic Model”

It is the easiest way to make anyone buy anything. And here is how it works…

When you go to a private clinic, you first go to see a doctor for a consultation.

Then they write you a list of drugs & tests to run at the hospital pharmacy & lab.

…giving the hospital cash seems like a logical step, and you do not feel like you were sold to

Applying this

The 2 steps to applying this in a business are:

1. Diagnosis (tell them WHY they have a problem)
2. Sell solution (your product or service)

To apply this in real life I will give you an example. Here is how to start a full company with this 2 step system.

How to Sell & Market Information on The Internet

There is only one way to make money on the internet - By selling something.

You can sell one of two things: Products or Services (or both)

- Facebook sells advert spaces
- Amazon sells physical products & cloud computing

-Fiverr sells services
-Binance sells financial instruments

Which means if anyone says: “Make money online” - the question you should ask is “what is being sold”

That said; the easiest way to start a business online is through the sale of information. Here is how it is done

Say you write an eBook or video (we will get to contents in a bit) and price it for ₦7,500

If you sell 500 copies, revenue will be ₦7,500 x 500 = ₦3.7M

Is this possible? Yes. But you will need 3 things

1. A hot topic
2. Traffic
3. Marketing

2015, I had just finished school - no startup capital, zero support. I went to a popular priest in the south east to ask for funding for my idea.

A lot of people wanted to get to him too & in the scuffle, a bodyguard pushed me down.

On that floor I realized that…

…if I sit around and expect help from people, it may NEVER come. People will ask me for business plan and never pick my calls.

So I went out and got a job as a teacher in a secondary school, teaching 3 subjects.

In the afternoon I will go to a lesson center & teach there too

I put together everything I made, while living with my parents at that time - and bought a second hand laptop.

Every night after work and on weekends, I wrote The Bang Rule (which would sell thousands of copies in a few years)

This image below is a reflection of how little things compound over time:

The man’s name is William McElligott. A truck driver who would drive his truck with the window down.

Over time the side of his face that always faced the open window, exposed to wind and the UV light from the sun; began to age faster than the other side.

And this is why the right side (in the image) is that wrinkled.

Completely insane right?

This compounding effect with time happens in all areas of life. Your weight, finance…little drops fill the bucket.
