Pouyaa Bakhtiari's mother is now online and requesting to speak. She has not submitted a statement but is now requesting to speak. #Iran_Atrocities
She says she saw the body of her son being carried by other protestors. She was in disbelief.
She had thought he was just wounded but found out he was dead in the hospital. "They took the right to live from my son in just a few minutes. That is a sin."
She says she couldn't believe that they could shoot people in the head - she said she thought the bullets were only to calm the protests, not to kill.
She is now talking about how her family members were arrested and taken to prison. They could not participate in the 40th day anniversary ceremony.
She says one of the guards told her he had killed her son, shamelessly.
She is demanding, on behalf of herself and other families, that the government let them know why their children were killed. She says because they have no response, they threaten and arrest the families.
Correction: It was not a guard who told her he had killed her son, it was an interrogator.
She says they were blindfolded and could not see the interrogators. She doesn't know who admitted to her that he had killed Pouya. After, she was told that it was 'rioters' who had killed him.
