ETH teams do not have Rust experience so it is hard to expand to Solana.

G: Devs in solidity and EVM know very well how it works, 5 yrs of ETH vulnerabilities. As a new dev - security, blogs, tutorials, indexers, ETLs, peripheral infra - new dev should use Solidity but cases where ETH developers do like Rust due to EVM issues.
G: Solana will have to face the MEV problem or opportunity a bit later on in the game. Proof of History has nothing to do with MEV.

A: Defi from price perspective has not been performing, but they are hitting their growth metrics , market isnt really paying attention, nft gaming is culture finance is finance - theres still a lot of growth, multichain future is definitely happening.
A: Solana is hitting escape velocity, defi is growing - defi 2.0 are still building on foundations of defi 1.0 - price is more narrative driven. We will see more fintech using defi with front end being fintech apps and backend defi.
J: very different from 2017, last market was a lot of FUD and govts were fighting crypto now adoption of blockchain taking place. Now all the countries are paying attention (central banks, Facebook). Believes market will go up, but hard to predict.
J: Protocols initially were competing against each other now apps are building on top of protocols. Entering L3, L2 - bridges etc.
D: Thesis for new sector
S: Defi, NFTs and gaming. NFTs are easy to explain and its relatable. Investing in games and NFTs then how does user interact with Metaverse. Relationship with money is changing for the new generation. BTC non soverging store of value.

J: Axie infinity AXS is more valuable than the actual national currency. We will see that money is a different concept of what we are used to. People in Phil. Prefer getting paid in AXS. Now govt are fighting back with regulation.

S: people want to get paid in tokens not currency. They want to be incentivized with native token. DAOs Protocols people want to get involved Open sources are better than closed sources.

S: Eth already flipped BTC in terms of usage and metrics. Gold trillion dollar asset, but ETH and Sol are creating many new other use cases. Can Sol flip Eth? Doesnt know but ETH can serve different use cases

A: sol flipping eth in 3 yrs~ 40-50%. ETH is very valuable. Growth of Sol happening faster than growth of ETH rn due to smaller market. SOL is built for growth. We havent seen a bear market yet so cant tell how the community will react. Sol is prime for growth,reaching mln users

A: Aave announced they will deploy on Neon. Always been on point with execution. Need to balance growth and innovation and AAVE has done this. Gaming as well, triple A quality being launched with deeper blockchain integration.
