This quote comes from a chapter called “White," which explains why we should not position all White people “as an oppressor class” and all people of color as an “oppressed class,” as Thiessen and Princeton professor Allen C. Guelzo claim CRT and I do. 3/

Clearly, Thiessen didn’t read my work. He took a quote from my book out of context and injected the words with meaning I do not share, as I show before and after the quote. 4/

And Guelzo doesn't even know the *racial* ideas of Immanuel Kant. In his framing of CRT as an attack on *White people* Guelzo historicizes CRT as a subset of “critical theory” that began with Immanuel Kant. 5/

This is the same Kant who said “humanity is at its greatest perfection in the race of whites”; who said the inhabitant of Europe “has a more beautiful body, works harder, is more jocular, more controlled in his passions, more intelligent than any other race of people.” 6/

The self-identified champions of “reason” have no idea what they are talking about when referencing Kant, let alone what critical race theorists are talking about. You know what rejects reason and is impervious to evidence? Misinformation. 7/
