investigation conducted by Hastings. It found no evidence of any actionable sexual harassment complaint being made against Weaver. When there was an investigation at Fox what was the finding? Weavers conduct was deplorable but NO person ever made a complaint. I only dispute one

point of fact and one characterization from the NY MAG story on this matter, including my quotes all of which are accurate. I’ll just lay it out for you and @JayCaruso an unfriendly Murdoch/Anschutz jury. The NY Mag story states the following

“On June 17, a person working @ProjectLincoln sent an email to cofounder Ron Steslow that reported ten allegations of Weaver harassing men, including at least one employee of the Lincoln Project. Three people independently described the

contents of the email…”. Let me state the fact objection now. The author of the email was not an employee of @ProjectLincoln. The author of the email was a senior employee of Ron Steslow. The chain of custody of that email is very important because only four people have ever

Seen it, touched it and read it. They are as follows. 1. Vendor Sr. Employee. 2. Ron Steslow- Lincoln Project Board Member - Lincoln Projects largest outside vendor. 3. @reedgalen -LP Board Member and operations/admin chief/ LP co -founder. 4. Matt Sanderson. LP General Counsel.

Those are the only four humans who have ever seen the email. The email has never been printed and only selectively quoted. I did not learn about the existence of the email until I was informed about it by reporters covering the Weaver story. Let me make a point about the

following representation from the story “ TEN ALLEGATIONS ABOUT WEAVER HARASSING MEN, including AT LEAST ONE EMPLOYEE.” The ten allegations were ten items of hearsay about Weavers conduct. All of it predated the Lincoln Project. There were no first hand accounts, no direct

complaints, no specific places. It was an outing and there was nothing in it that could have been used to “investigate” Weaver that wouldn’t have gotten the @LincolnProject sued by him. The employee that was referenced in the email bitterly disputed the allegations made against

him and threatened to both sue and quit @ProjectLincoln. What is the meaning of the word allegation? How is it handled at the Washington Examiner and FOX News. The reason that no one can name any people that filed a complaint to the Lincoln Project against Weaver is

because no one did. There was only an email with no evidence of anything other than an itemized list of rumors and accurate anxiety about Weavers secret life. Again only four people have ever had access to this email and have ever read it themselves; 1. Steslow Employee.

2. Steslow 3. Galen 4. Sanderson. Allegations of John Weaver making unwanted advances to ADULT men surfaced first in the American Conservative and then in the NYT. At last count the number stood at 21 men who had gone on the record, yet most all of them experienced Weavers

advances BEFORE the Lincoln Project existed. None of the young men Weaver harassed ever made a complaint to the Lincoln Project. Ron Steslow and another ConFounder left the organization in December. The American Conservative Union broke the story in January which was the first

Instance of my ever seeing credible evidence about Weavers misconduct. Shortly after that, three anonymous sources appeared to validate the existence of the selectively quoted email which was written by a Steslow employee, given to Steslow, a Lincoln Project Board Member and

passed on to Galen and Sanderson. @reedgalen did everything he could to keep the contents of that email secret, even from me and even after I told reporters ON THE RECORD that no complaints were ever made against Weaver to the Lincoln Project. General Counsel Sanderson read the

entirety of this email out loud to @TheRickWilson myself and @stuartpstevens on a phone call. I demanded the email be released and I was very clear that if I got my hands on it that it would be made public. That leaves only two other human beings on a planet of 8 Billion people

who had access to the Weaver email described in the story. I don’t think you have to be Detective Benson to figure out who was given the cloak of anonymous sourcing to level a hit against @ProjectLincoln. I hate to be cynical but yes, I think it is entirely possible that former

employees were allowed to weaponize information by The NY Times and NY Mag without the readers being told about business conflicts and other motives. There you have it. I’m just trying to navigate the new guilt by association rules of the fascist movement you debase yourself for.

Again, what Weaver did was wrong. He acknowledged the tremendous pain he caused to his family and apologized for it. He resigned from the Lincoln Project in a public statement. He is accused of no criminal conduct and no assault. No human on earth ever filed a complaint against

Weaver to @ProjectLincoln which condemned Weavers raunchy and inappropriate emails and advances. I made very clear how disturbed I was by learning about the fact he had email contact with a 14 year old while working for @JohnKasich in 2015, 5 years before the @ProjectLincoln

Was founded. The truth is I don’t sweat your smears. It’s unpleasant at times but it is part of the cost of fighting back against Fox and Trump. I’m proud of my enemies. The fact is simple. You are a liar and a propagandist for an evil network that has poisoned American democracy

and spread misinformation about a pandemic that has led to hundreds of thousands of American deaths. You work for a company that is a cesspool of harassment, abuse, insanity, conspiracy and division. I just wanted to set the record straight.
