Keep in mind that remembering it,& feeling angry again, is normal. What we do with it is everything.

When it gets to this level, you not only have ill-wishes against those you are bitter against, you may even fall into temptation of praying judgmental and soulish prayers against them. You begin to wish them misfortune and rejoice in their misfortune, trials and hardships.
You get deceived into seeing misfortune as God "vindicating you." This is what #hatred does because of bitterness. There are many believers whose hearts are riddled with hatred as a result of the root of bitterness they failed to deal with.
