There're things in our hearts which will show up only given an opportunity;who knew that David would take somebody's wife and kill thier husband?
The same David who killed Goliath?
David understood that there are things in his heart which only GOD can see and remove ; so He cried out to God.
Psalm 139:24
And see if there be any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way.
You might be a full believer today but maybe there are some hurtful ways in you maybe those ways will cause you to fall.
David was called a man after GOD'S heart reason why he was concern about his heart but some people today are

Let me start with this statement when we pray we give God the legal right to act on our behalf when we don't pray we not allowing him to act reason why the bible says pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
but prayer is not informing God of our problems because the bible says in Matthew 6:8 " For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him." So prayer it not informing God of our situation .
You have to understand this God really wants to heal you as quick as possible,he really wants to answer you as quick as possible so why answers to your prayers are taking so long ?so why our situation instead of improving sometimes it getting worse ? let me tell you why now.

1/ If God exists, he knows all the physical explanations of all the phenomena. From his point of view, there is no "God of the gaps."

Hence *our* inability to explain something about the world is no reason to infer that God makes human-style arbitrary choices. #God
2/ In other words, for example, God's mechanism for creating life would be evolution, of course. Where there are inexplicable-seeming leaps, surely *God* would know of the explanation.

But our ignorance is no argument for atheism or scientific materialism in itself.
3/ Even if we had a perfect scientific explanation of everything from the Big Bang, to the universal constants, to the origin of life, to every last evolutionary gap, one might *still* feel driven to the conclusion that the explanations themselves seem to be driven by purposes.

1 A common manipulation tactic is “flipping the script.”

It's basically a form of gaslighting:

“You only think we’re arrogant because you’re arrogant.”
“You claiming that we are gossiping about you is slander.”
etc etc
2 This is a diversion tactic. The goal is to keep you on the hotseat where you have to defend yourself. Why? 2 reasons:

-They won’t have to respond to your charge if you get distracted with defending yourself

-You'll likely get emotional & that'll make you look out of control
3 The way to overcome this tactic isn’t to outright deny their counter-claim. It’s could be true.

An over-the-top reaction will only make them appear more right.

We must be willing to accept correction even from those with whom are at odds. Humility never backfires.
