1/ A close friend of my late father, I last spoke with the late Ambassador SK Moyo just last week outside Parly where he lamented the emergence of “mafikizolo” to ZANU-PF and that things were not the same.
2/ For all the dedication and commitment he sacrificed towards the liberation of this country, his mark was sadly spoiled by these young boys. SK suffered a lot of persecution for simply towing the line of the centre of power. Why do we needlessly persecute each other?
3/All the good things will be said about him now he’s no more but the truth is they made him suffer, these hypocrites. It’s these hypocritical tendencies that cause my aversion of rejoining or joining political parties. I can’t blame the youth though, but this is for another post
4/ The late SK Moyo was a fighter to the very end. A man whose wise words of wisdom had a great impact in my life. His passing brings me great sorrow. A man of great inspiration, he would always praise my hard working ethic.
5/His hospitality was next to none, he was certainly a man with the demeanour of a Diplomat par excellence. Go well Tata, go well revered Son of the Soil! ZAPU Puza!ZAPU Puza! Gone to meet up once more with greats who’ve gone before you, Nkomo, Mangena, Tongogora etc MHDSRIEP 🙏🏿
6/ The late SK Moyo’s passing has made me to reflect a lot on ZANUPF, it’s trials and tribulations….. I’ll follow this up with some of these thoughts

Reflections on the Second Republic on its Anniversary.
If anything exemplifies the hypocrisy in @ZANUPF_Official its the fact that today ED is running the country with most of the people who were there in 2004 when he was blocked from being VP& 2017 when he was fired.
What is striking about this is that no one has said anything about those episodes. The truth has never been said. A few people were singled out such as as @ProfJNMoyo, @Hon_Kasukuwere, @DrGGandawa, @waltermzembi, the CIO etc. But only the army was clear in its support for ED.
In the run-up to November 2017 Mugabe had decided to remove all the service chiefs but they stood their ground. Chihuri was supposed to arrest Chiwenga who was in China but Sanyatwe and the Presidential Guard defended their Commander.
Well done this is a right decision. As I have said before most sporting associations need to be disbanded and we start to plan again. We need 20-25 year plans. Ngoma yarira, good decision. @online_zifa has nobody who knows sport.
Would you like to be represented in court by someone who has not studied law? Then why do you think we sports people are acceptive of that in our field. I have studied sports and have a degree and understand the need to have qualified people.
I'm glad that cricket is doing well. Even financially they have managed to close the gap. You can see their achievements. As for soccer, Even if @FIFAcom bans us, even better. Many nations have been banned before and managed to plan and came back better.
What some of you guys in @ZANUPF_Official smoke is definitely not the Zim cannabis. Democracy is important& @ZANUPF_Official as the revolutionary party should be the torch bearers. However, your tone however lacks that refinement and light. It's all about brutality and force.
There are just too many hypocrites within this party. However, what I can assure you is forget about Norton or anywhere I decide to stand. All you can do is tell your people to work with me. The secret is that where I stand I advocate for development and not politics.
People are tired of politics& politicking. Just to remind you Chris Mutsvangwa, then a Presidential Advisor, got 4000 & @mdczimbabwe got 7000 votes in 2018. I got nearly 17 000 votes. The reason is that you parties are in perpertual election mode& never work for the people.
1/ ZANU PF is currently undergoing a stressful time as a party. There is a lot of tension and suspicions. However I would like to explain the genesis of this and how if this situation is not rectified the party has no redemptive moment anytime ahead.
2/In 2018 @edmnangagwa got 50.8 votes& his votes were fewer than the 2/3 for the MPs. It's safe to argue his win was based on outsiders who were giving him a chance due to the prevailing political sentiment at the time. They are not from the party structures.
3/Foremost among the reasons is the abiding wound and rupture within the party from the Gamatox debacle which resulted in the expulsion of Mai Mujuru and a host of Provincial Chairpersons. The electorate within the party has remained attached to those leaders.
Aspindale residents should ignore this statement by Marimba Properties. The company has never produced legal evidence to show that they own the land. It has only been producing statements to unsettle people.
It's only last week that they went to court in the Joshua Nkomo Cooperative case otherwise at no time before have they gone to court to prove their case. This means they have never proved their ownership!!
Affordable housing is a government policy which is being fulfilled through these cooperatives. Pictures with state leaders isn't evidence of anything, who knows what was being discussed? People should not be moved by the drama by this company, it has no proof of ownership.
My condolences on the passing away of Ambassador Kennedy Grant Dick Chivanda Manyika who took his last breath on Friday November 5, 2021 at the ripe old age of 99. His was not just an extraordinary life, but a life of extraordinary service.
Born 4 years after the end of the 1st World War (and a young man of seventeen at the start of World War II), he graduated as a teacher from Hope Fountain in 1947 under the famed trainer Tennyson Hlabangana.
After Hope Fountain, Ambassador Manyika would, assisted by his wife Rahab, go on to a three-decade award-winning teaching career (1947-1981) including winning the prestigious Secretary’s Bell twice.
