I think the new muppet is great.

Dems compulsively try to project their bigotry onto everyone else.

Biden dismissed DOJ civil rights suit against Yale for discriminating against #AsianAmericans

I filed a bill to stop Asian American college discrimination; EVERY DEM voted NO.
1/x Lots of Lefties having their usual intelligent response: “nuh uh!”

No facts, no substance, just ad hominem insults.

Here is a link to the vote results: senate.gov/legislative/LI…
2/x Here’s the FULL TEXT of the amendment:

“Purpose: To prohibit Federal funding for any institution of higher education that discriminates against Asian Americans in recruitment, applicant review, or admissions

“At the end, add the following:….”
3/x “…SEC. 6. PROHIBITION OF FEDERAL FUNDS FOR INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION THAT DISCRIMINATE AGAINST ASIAN AMERICANS.

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no institution of higher education (as defined in section 102 of the Higher Education Act of 1965…)”
4/x “…may receive any Federal funding if the institution has a policy in place or engages in a practice that discriminates against Asian Americans in recruitment, applicant review, or admissions.”
5/x That’s it. Not another word.

And EVERY SINGLE DEM voted NO.

In other words, they support giving Fed $$ to universities “that discriminate against Asian Americans in recruitment, applicant review, or admissions.”
6/x Virtually no reporters covered the vote, bc it contradicts the political narrative of the corrupt corporate media.

I’m not aware of a single Dem Senator who has EVEN BEEN ASKED why they support brazen discrimination against #AsianAmericans in college admissions.

@Alyssa_Milano If everyone in America stopped screaming at each other, maybe we could have rational conversations (like you & I did on guns).

You’re right, many vaccines are mandatory for kids. But those have been around for decades, and we know the risks.

With Covid…
2/x the vaccine is new & experimental. I’m very glad we have it—developed in record time. I’ve taken the vaccine myself, as has Heidi & our parents.

With kids, the cost/benefit analysis is different. The health risks to kids of Covid are relatively low & risks of side effects…
3/x …are significant. Nobody really knows what the effects of this vaccine 10 years later. For a 5-year-old, it’s personally reasonable for parents to decide not to take that risk.

1/x Houston Chronicle continues its role as Dem propagandist.

It says press spox “denied” it was bc of vax mandates, so OF COURSE that must be true (just like when the press believed denials re the Wuhan lab).

Here are FACTS, of which Chron is ignorant: chron.com/news/houston-t…
2/x (1) Last week, I met with the leaders of the major pilots unions. EVERY ONE expressed deep concern over the vaccine mandates & said LARGE NUMBERS OF PILOTS ARE QUITTING because of the mandates.

(2) The SWA Pilots Union is SUING to block the mandate: bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
3/x FACT (3) My tweet also focused on air traffic controllers (which the Chron ignored).

Specifically, there are multiple reports of a shortage of controllers in Jacksonville (which impacted SW cancellation across the Eastern seaboard).

1/x In honor of Columbus Day, and as a proud Italian-American, I give you Reagan’s 1986 proclamation, reproduced in full.

It’s tragic that young people aren’t taught this anymore.

October 8, 1986
By the President of the United States of America: reaganlibrary.gov/archives/speec…
2/x “Each year, we … honor Christopher Columbus, whose epic voyages of discovery shaped the development of the Western Hemisphere. This great explorer won a place in history & in the hearts of all Americans because he challenged the unknown & thereby found a New World.”
3/x “Columbus remains loved today. With his faith, vision, and courage, he could navigate beyond his world's horizons. He left a wide wake for all those to follow who would dream as he dreamed, who would defy the naysayers and dare to strive for new goals. Follow him they did…”

1/x Joe Biden's botched Afghanistan withdrawal has been vetting failure & a horrifying catastrophe.
2/x He has imported an acute HUMANITARIAN CRISIS into the U.S.

Young girls are being subject to forced child marriages and sexual abuse by "husbands" using the withdrawal to exploit them.
apnews.com/article/middle…
3/x It is also a SECURITY CRISIS by Joe Biden: 10,000 Afghans needed more security screening after and 100 people flagged for terrorism/ Taliban ties.

Democrats are engaged in a $9.5 TRILLION spending spree. This week, they’re spending nearly $5 TRILLION.

$1,200,000,000,000 “infrastructure” bill
$3,500,000,000,000 Bernie budget resolution

Our country is facing an inflation bomb, due in part to the Democrats’ money printing.
Accounting for inflation, the US spent $4.1 trillion to win World War II.

Today, Bernie Sanders and Democrats want to spend $3.5 TRILLION on liberal priorities.

Here’s some of the irresponsible and reckless spending Democrats want.
Buried in the Bernie budget resolution: amnesty for illegal aliens.

There already is a border crisis.

But Democrats giving amnesty to illegal aliens will only encourage more illegal immigration and make the crisis worse.

.@steve_vladeck At the end of the day, the courts might agree with you, but here’s a credible argument by serious thinkers that Big Tech—by directly implementing govt policy, at the express behest of govt decision-makers—have become de facto state actors:

wsj.com/articles/save-…
2/x @steve_vladeck you can do better than that. You’re a respected law prof. But so’s Rubenfeld.

You might be right that Norwood (1973) and Hanson (1956) and Skinner (1989) and Bantam Books (1963) may be found not to apply—but you can’t credibly pretend they don’t exist.
3/x When a monopoly becomes the enforcement arm of govt censorship, it is very much state action.

This is a point I’ve made publicly before:
