My 4 year old: "single use are good but Flomask is very very very good".

To hold up the upper string, I put a headband around her hair. She puts
on the mask herself. Postage to UK is 30$. I buy Envomask for me, as Flomask is for kids only. Disclosure: not paid by them.
"If..worn all day,..rule of thumb is to replace the filter daily. Fresh filters maintain good breathability & when not in use,..store the mask in the microfiber pouch as the filter is electrostatically charged & will continue to attract particulates in the air if left sitting out
The top strap...has...silicone strips on the backing to keep the strap from sliding down
...kids with long fine hair may result in the strap slipping over time. We recommend tying their hair..so the top strap rests...on the ponytail, or wearing a hat can also help

the filter, is manufactured...in the US.
...Although our mask wasn’t designed for kids younger than 4, we’ve had many parents use Flo Mask on kids as young as 2 & the feedback...is that it fits quite nicely.
...this is a decision a parent must make

Our Technostat filtration media has been tested in accordance to TSI8130 NaCI 0.1 micron particle size, proving over 97.00% filtration efficiency at 32 LPM

N95 is rated for 8 hrs of use in a highly airborne particulate filled environment while maintaining a consistent level of filtration efficiency per OSHA work standards. This typically requires an extra melt blown layer as the first line of defense to capture the dust

"N95 is rated for 8hrs of use in a highly airborne particulate filled environment while maintaining a consistent level of filtration efficiency per OSHA work standards. This ...makes it...harder to breathe, which kids would likely struggle with since their lungs aren't strong..."
"Therefore, we made the tradeoff of using a highly effective filter from Technostat with unparalleled breathability."
-flomask.com/pages/faqs
"As a result, we recommend changing the filter out regularly depending on how poor the air quality is, especially if the filter clogs up & your child has a harder time breathing."

Flo Mask was designed for little lungs, so we focused heavily on the breathability of our filter. This is why we selected Technostat filtration media because they're designed to filter effectively while maintaining a high rate of air flow.
-Flomask.com
Other filters on the market today have various layers to achieve a high level of filtration and give the mask its shape. However, increased layers also mean increased resistance to air flow.
-Flomask.com
increased layers..mean increased resistance to air flow.
Because Flo Mask has its own support structure, we can..reduce the number of layers...down to a single layer that filters sub-micron particles sandwiched in-between a layer of hydrophobic material on each side
