We’ve seen the pure darkness of Gov. Stitt’s soul. We can’t give him 4 more years of power when we’ve seen the absolute evil he will do with it - & in the name of his God.

I walk back my past comments. If Joy is on the ballot in November, I’m voting for her. Period. We have to.

She isn’t going to be the prog. candidate we need, want or deserve. But she went on record saying she would have accepted the recommendation of the P&PB. She wouldn’t have tortured 2 families & the entire Black community.

Not voting for her would be weaponizing your privilege.

I won’t ever forget the feeling of watching @GovStitt psychologically torture someone so that he could feel the power of playing God. He is a dangerous narcissist.

This changed everything for me. I promise every single person reading this that I will hold Joy accountable /

just like any other elected if she wins. I’m very sure that she will not be ideologically aligned with me on the majority of things.

But we have to get this soulless man out of office. He has too much power and no capacity for empathy.

I see things differently now.

Mama Jones has fought hard for 22 years. She thanked a man who tortured her and her son bc his political calculus forced him to save her son’s life.

We have to follow her lead. She earned it. So many families in OK need us to excise the cancer that is Kevin Stitt. We can do it

Idk what else to say. I can’t sit back and watch him waltz back into office. He just toyed with a man’s life and traumatized the Black community, for what?

It was so sinister & inhumane.

Are we willing to subject Black Oklahomans to that until 2026? I’m sure AF not.

This was so sinister. I don’t believe in the devil, but I felt pure evil in the state Capitol this week. I could feel it every time I stepped out of the rotunda. Every time I couldn’t hear the pleading voices of the kids singing on the 2nd floor.

I tell my kids “people aren’t bad. We don’t use that word to describe humans. People can make bad choices, but people are not bad.” But Kevin Stitt is bad. At his core. And a whole lot of folks we consider “allies” stood silently while he tortured and toyed with folks.

Kevin Stitt has to be voted out.

If you’re a fellow progressive and unfollow me bc of this, all I have to say is that I love my fellow humans too much to not say this publicly. I hope you come around. It’s going to take all of us.

Please don’t stand by and throw your vote away.
