Glem spent yesterday insisting that the US media called Rittenhouse's victims 'Black' and when asked for proof, all he could cite was one single (quickly corrected) bullet point on a news outlet from the UK. Narratives above all truth; that's the Bold, Adversarial way!
"I'll answer in a second." You'll be shocked to know that he not only never answered, but instead just descended into a series of weird name-calling and non sequiturs , in typical journalistic fashion.
Also this interaction is pretty funny, given that as of not very long ago, these 2 were holding hands to call out The Great FAKE NEWS Russia Hoax (with Adam arguing that there was *too much* proof for the hacking to actually be Russia).
Again, the original claim by all of these people, Glem included was not 'there is no convictions for criminal conspiracy with Trump & Russia' but 'there is no proof that Russia hacked the DNC. The Libs/Deep State made it up out of whole-cloth for politics'

Come on, man........this is just getting beyond ridiculous.
Welp, there's no way as someone who has positioned themselves a paragon of principled journalistic freedoms, could do anything but condemn this and...............nope, haha of course not.

You can say a lot about how his quality of journalism has cratered, but nobody provides on Twitter dot com provides a better daily ratings round-up than our buddy Glem. Nothing more important than cheering on my friends at Newsmax.
Nobody's more obsessed with ratings than him, save for Donald J. Trump (whom he does not support).
RWers really love to get their news from TV. The libs, not as much and also if they do, they watch a dozen different stations, instead of like 2-3 for RWers. This, somehow proves that RW media is more honest, to me, a frequent guest on RW teevee.

Glem has just repeated this, as if it was fact, from day one despite absolutely no proof at all that this was true. And even though it's been pointed out over & over & over again to him, he just keeps repeating it, because he never changes his narrative.
Even if you accept his premise- that anyone using a public defender is 'impoverished', then even by that metric, it's still not even close to true. But again, for Glem, when he has a narrative to push, it doesn't matter if it's true or not.
One could call it 'disinformation', the kind he pretends is endemic in the media (but not Fox News, they're great) he obsessively criticizes.

BTW, if you were curious who this RW venture capitalist guy throwing money at 'left' people like Glem (who vehemently, angrily insists he is NOT being paid by Peter Thiel), well surprise, it's another Peter Thiel ally, who co-wrote an anti-diversity book with him.
But how dare you say he's paid by Peter Thiel or any other RW billionaire types. It's just a coincidence that he funds this platform...and What a smear.
Also completely a coincidence that I prop up all the faux-populists he's funding for Senate.

Extremely depressing to realize that with many voters, the Dems were/are going to punished for doing the responsible things to stem the tide of the pandemic, while the GOP whose reckless behavior is responsible for countless deaths, are most likely going to be rewarded.
The head of the GOP is literally on tape saying, 'I like to play this shit down. I don't want to upset the stock market'. The GOP pushes constant anti-vax stuff and anti-science bullshit.
But because people are selfish and some of the mitigation stuff requires some personal sacrifice and (minor) inconveniences and the GOP message is, 'fuck it. you don't have to any of that,' that's very appealing to a lot of people.
