While Brh and GKC have massive sculptures darasuram - ( rajarajeswaram - a name change happened after pandyan invasion) takes miniaturising to new heights. Panel work on the prAkArAs and miniatures on pillars (some Deccan rock mostly granite - harder to work) 
1. On the eastern wall this keecaka vadham motiff..note keeckas body accordioned by bhima - draupadi as sairandhri on the right
2. On the southern wall this beautiful kAmadahanam - kAma is shown shooting the arrow at Shiva and as fallen (not depicted as ashes)
3. kala samharam. Deteriorated over time but u can make out the story
4. A padmini most likely
5. All the stories from the thirutondar puranam are depicted around the temple - will do another thread with the correct attribution to the nayanmars (didn't get all but a decent sample)

Finally in this thread - this rishaba hidden under the northern entrance and has somehow escaped the ravages of time invaders callous pilgrims and tourists and indifferent custodians - shows you how intricate the designs were in the original panels (this is granite!)
