I try my best to stay out of internal LP squabbles, especially those that aren't in my state, because I trust that the members of those state affiliates can figure out the best way to resolve things, and frankly I have better uses for my time.

But LP Delaware must be addressed.
After talking with people on all sides of this situation, here is what I have determined:

- On October 1, Will McVay, Jimmy Brittingham, Joe DiPasquale, Brandi Kercheval and Mary Pat McVay convened a meeting of the LPDE without giving proper notice to anyone else.
- In 5 minutes, they voted to change the threshold for removing leadership from 8/10 board members to 2/3 county chairs, and then proceeded to remove the duly-elected Chair, Vice Chair and Chair of New Castle County, and to appoint Will as Chair and Jimmy as Vice Chair.
- On October 31, these same people voted to disenfranchise the entire LPDE membership, more than 2000 registered Libertarians in the state, including County and State leadership, removing everyone as members of LPDE.
- On November 1, they voted to create a whitelist of 20 "permanent members", including some of their children. Anyone else who wishes to become a member must go through a "process" they've created to determine who can or cannot be a member.
Let me say this as clearly as I can: through these actions, Will and his crew have sought to effectively eliminate LPDE as a political party and turn it into a private club, of which they are the gatekeepers.
They have sought to disenfranchise LPDE delegates of their elected Board, LPDE candidates for office of their ballot access, and LPDE members of their time, efforts, donated funds and membership.
Will, Jimmy, Joe, Brandi, Mary: I call on all of you to renounce your actions, recognize Bill Hinds as Chair, Amy LePore as Vice Chair, and Dave Casey as New Castle County Chair, and give them control of all LPDE assets immediately.
If they continue to refuse to do so, I call on the LNC to officially recognize Bill Hinds, Amy LePore and Dave Casey in their duly-elected roles, and to censure Will, Jimmy, Joe, Brandi and Mary for their actions.

I will be reiterating this at tonight's emergency LNC meeting.
This isn't about factions or disagreements, this is about respecting our members and everything they put into this Party. It's about abiding by our rules and ethics, not playing dirty like the RepubliCrats.

We are the Party of Principle. We must not allow these actions to stand.

This man's name is Eliot Middleton.

Eliot is a chef, and the owner of a restaurant in Awendaw SC that is best known for its mouth-watering ribs.

Eliot himself is best known for helping families in need.
A couple years ago, Eliot organized a food drive where he gave away 250 boxes of his famous ribs. When he ran out of food, he went outside and saw that the line waiting for more was two blocks long.
He started talking with some of the folks out there, and found out that many of them had to walk 3 or 4 miles to get there because they didn't have a vehicle, but they didn't get there in time and now had to walk back home.

This woman's name is Alteria Woods.

Alteria worked at a pharmacy and was studying to be a pharmacist, and volunteered at a food bank and a pug rescue.

In 2017, police shot and killed Alteria, who was pregnant with her boyfriend Andrew's child, and arrested him for killing her.
According to Alteria's family, she and Andrew were inseparable. The night before, they had gone to the movies, and then to the Firefighters' Indian River County Fair.

Alteria and Andrew were thrilled to welcome their unborn child into the world later that year.
Then on that early morning, while Andrew and Alteria were sleeping, police smashed open their bedroom window and threw in a flashbang grenade.

Andrew awoke and, believing that they were being robbed, fired out the window.

The reason Veterans Day is on November 11 is to coincide with Armistice Day, the day that World War I ended.

Because the best way to honor veterans is to let them live, and to stop using them as fodder.
We honor veterans by ending the wars, so that they can come home, where they belong.

We honor veterans by ending the VA and giving the money directly to them, and ending the torture of making them jump through hoops and beg for the care they were promised.
We honor veterans by acknowledging that nearly 10% of our prison population are veterans, ending the wars on drugs and guns that sent most of them there, and expunging their records (as well as every other victim of those wars) so they can reclaim their lives.

Yesterday, I met with my friend @JonathanCHowe to talk about his run for Congress.
Jonathan decided to run to represent NY14 when he saw government force COVID patients into nursing homes, lock his neighborhood in their homes, shut down local businesses, and cause immeasurable loss and suffering which continues to this day.
Now, he's seeing them forcing vaccine passports and tracking systems on the city, with more promised to come from the federal government.

As a Public Defender in Bronx County Family Court, Jonathan has seen the incredible pain and difficulty these policies cause every day.

Last night, @Tomfor52 and I, along with volunteers for his campaign, walked through downtown Oneonta NY and talked with business owners, employees and patrons about Tom's vision for a freer, happier and more prosperous New York. ImageImageImageImage
We ended the night with a great fundraiser at a local restaurant.

Every time I listen to Tom, I'm struck by how quickly he's able to connect with people, no matter their background. The reason why is obvious: he's not a politician.
He's an who assists disabled people in becoming self-reliant and independent.

He's a leader in the liberty movement who is helping to grow the party by leaps and bounds.

He's an everyday human being, trying to help his fellow man.

He's exactly what New York needs.

From pre-K to university, the primary purpose of government schooling is to normalize the state and its mechanisms to the point where we see it as being as necessary as food or water.

As long as government runs education, it will continue to grow and impose itself further on us.
All of these debates over CRT, trans kids in sports, etc. are easily resolved by just letting parents choose what and how their kids are taught, instead of being robbed to pay for one-size-fits-all schooling.

But then, they can't condition kids to accept being subjugated.
The current government narrative on schooling is "you shouldn't have a say in what and how your kids are being taught."

Soon it will be "they're really our kids more than they are yours."

As with everything else, it will continue to get worse until we stop going along with it.
