((JC, JYL, & JZX don’t correspond perfectly with the Gilmores, but I think the energy is right: JC has some personality traits in common with Emily Gilmore.))
Also, the juniors each clearly of correspond to one of Rory’s bfs: Ouyang Zizhen is Dean, Jingyi is Jess obviously (he’s even related to Diner Guy), and Jin Ling is Logan.
This also works with LWJ as Lorelai and WWX as Luke. LWJ and Sizhui have to attend weekly dinners with LQR and LXC.
