I did not post it here, but a good while back, probably July, the Rogue Scorpians tried to pretend they were representatives of an ancestor race. They are evil and twisted so pulling off an act as good beings just did not work out. They did try but it was shut down quickly.

So with that history, and the fact that it would just be odd in the extreme to have another ancient civilization appear... here we are.

I know the chances would be astronomical to have a disclosure about a parent civilization in our lifetime, and then a disclosure about

a grandparent civilization that even the parent civilization had not known about. It is a huge massive claim at a time when we are at war and there was another known fake claim.

But this is what is going on now.

In Star Trek, warp drive was what enabled first contact.

It turns out that genetics that are somewhat passable instead of being completely insane is the real life equivalent to what advanced civilizations need for first contact. They need us to want to go in the good direction of course. They all seem to be fine working behind the

scenes to get us on the right track.

Basically it comes down to choice. The old genome just wants bad things. Kids tend to be distracted by neat shiny things instead of important ones.

Making the choice to use stabile and sane genetics makes sense.

Basically what you are doing is just making sure that our biological computer (brain) and body are not flawed so badly that all true objectivity becomes impossible over enough time.

Making a less flawed and more objective biological information processing is important.

So from that perspective you can see that it was just about hitting the right technical challenge that allowed us to play with the established civilizations.

According to the grandparent civilization rep, the parent civilization had an okay genome, but not quite up to par

The parent civilization had a better genome that Earth did, and it had tons of problems that science was needed for (universe creation). The urgent need for the science combined with a not as urgent need to completely improve the genetics led them to not push as hard as we did.

Remember people tend to like their genetics, no matter how good or bad they are. Having worse genetics and tons of problems because that, it pushed some in our civilization to work really hard at that. People that work harder and are okay with changing their own genome

tend to get more progress.

Basically this mess doomed a lot of people, but there were some who kept fighting to fix it.

So now back to the question of are they legitimately a grandparent civilization?

So far everything keeps checking out. In addition to technical things, their attitude and presence does not immediately give them away like the rogue Scorpians. When the Rogue Scorpians tried that, it was easy to tell they were forcing the nice.

The intentions and the depth of character they present is convincing. Yes the technical needs to be done and is being done to vet them. It is promising. They are working on fixing this mess now.

So if it all does check out, their plans for us include a bit of a population boom after this is done. There have been enough of the old genetics and old ways. They want our numbers and our successes up.

This is the opposite of what Rogue Scorpians want for us.

They want our numbers to shrink and for all things we do to doom us to the same fate as they have now.

The grandparent civilization has stated goals of leaning on the parent civilization just a bit to get them to adopt known better practices and stop creating messes like this

So whether they do check out or not, the goals are ones that are needed. From what it seems, it appears to be checking out, though it really is too soon to say for sure.

If they are legit as they appear, then they have the experience the parent civilization reps don't have

I am sure someone in the parent civilization has more experience with messes like this, but none who will come here and help. The grandparent civilization has seen this before and has both experienc and tools to fix it.

Everything about the clean up is top secret. Once it is done, we will have a new group to get to know, it seems.

The plan to End Earth still holds. No one so far feels it worth saving when other options are better and more humane.
