Also, if you’re not familiar with Baby Q’s whole deal, he claimed to be Q-from-the-future.
His big proof points were, basically, “if you bake hard enough you can find my name in some Q stuff! Sort of! Or close enough!”

Another proof he offered was “if I’m not really Q, how come I haven’t been arrested for publicly doing (insert illegal thing here)?” but of course he eventually DID face consequences.
The general consensus is that Steinbart is prrrrobably mentally ill, rather than grifting.

But hiring him fresh out of prison *kinda suggests* that whoever was making the hiring decisions knew who Steinbart was. And basically the only people who knew about him were:
1) his followers
2) mainline Q fans who hated him and his followers
3) Q-watchers.
