When Biden was elected, I hoped he would declassify much of the info that was withheld from the American public about the 2016 election. To say that I’m disappointed that this did not occur would be an enormous statement. We need transparency. We may never have another chance.
Because this did not occur, I can’t get excited about Biden. He is a million times better than Trump, but that is not the same as enthusiasm. What I feel is grave disappointment. This is one of the few things within his full control (as I understand it), & he didn’t do it. 1/
It makes me think less of Obama too. Trump took over on his watch. But Obama withheld as much information as possible from the public. We deserve to know what happened. He and Biden owed us this much. 2/
It also makes me wonder what Trump may be holding over the Democratic Party. Because the lack of transparency makes no sense to me otherwise. 3/

Before January 6, there was the June 2018 Tommy Robinson rally in London that turned violent. Bannon so was impressed by the rally that he invited Robinson to a “Movement” dinner w/ Paul Gosar soon after. The Middle East Forum funded Gosar’s travel. 1/ nytimes.com/2021/04/23/wor…
“The anti-Islam agitator Tommy Robinson [who was supported by the Middle East Forum] struck gold in America. Keeping it might require help from Moscow, where other British far-right activists are also finding friends.” 4/3/21 1/ nytimes.com/2021/04/23/wor…
A “right-wing U.S. research institute [Middle East Forum] even bankrolled a 2018 [Tommy Robinson] rally in London that foreshadowed the violence at the Capitol: Mr. Robinson’s supporters attacked police officers in a street fight near Parliament.” 2/
“A month later, Representative Paul Gosar, Republican of Arizona, flew to London to speak at a second rally for Mr. Robinson.” 3/
“This type of malicious smear — vilifying the creed of almost 1/4 of the world’s religious adherents as a ‘false faith’ and its founder as a ‘pedophile’— is, unfortunately, all too familiar to Jewish people, who have suffered just this kind of religious and ethnic defamation.” 2/

“N.J. voters faced a new way to sign in [electronic poll books]. It didn’t always go smoothly for poll workers or those casting ballots.” 11/3/21 1/ nj.com/politics/2021/…
At “a number of polling locations, election workers had issues connecting through the internet to the state database, which led to long lines in some places, and voters even being turned away from others.” 2/
“In Bernardsville, a voter said new machines for District 7 failed and voters had been turned away. In Raritan Township, a poll worker had the manual out while trying to help a voter sign in. In Hillsborough, another voter said people waiting in line ultimately walked away.” 3/
“There also seems to be a significant overlap between [Nigel Farage’s ‘World for Brexit’] and Bannon’s far-right populist group ‘The Movement’. “ 8/1/19 1/ bylinetimes.com/2019/08/01/ban…
“People close to both organisations include Steve Bannon, Nigel Farage, Raheem Kassam and Farage’s girlfriend, Laure Ferarri, who helped set up the group and is a nominee for secretary-general.” 2/
