3/ Also, AXL is involved in neuronal development and survivability of GnRH neurons, which are responsible for the release of Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). GnRH controls reproductive cycle in the female and spermatogenesis in the male.

4/ Because AXL is involved in neuronal patterning of GnRH neurons during development, effects on puberty and fertility rates may not be seen until next generation, particularly among children of those receiving the vaccine during pregnancy.
5/In contrast to ACE2, the Spike protein interacts with AXL via the NTD rather than the RBM/RBD. mRNA vaccines encode full-length Spike, which includes the NTD. Therefore, it’s plausible that circulating Spike generated post vaccination will interfere with AXL activity.
