@RailMinIndia The project estimated Rs 75000 Cr now, but will need at least 1.10 lakh Cr for completion. No traffic survey, geotechnical survey, environmental study and social impact study have been conducted yet. The DPR prepared is mostly based on assumptions and hypotheses.

@RailMinIndia A flawed alignment. From Tirur to Kasargod, SilverLine is parallel to the existing railway line. The Railways disagrees,as it would interfere the future quadrupling of this stretch. About 140 km run through paddy fields, which are not stable for high speeds, said E Sreedharan.
