A Comparative Note on Inflation: INDI Alliance Vs. NDA Ruled States
● Inflation is a global issue, but PM Modi’s India has fared better than most. The NDA government, led by PM Modi, has revitalized the economy, blending welfare with relentless reforms. From being one of the 'fragile five' to the world’s fastest-growing major economy, India has made significant strides in the past decade. However, economic growth hasn't been evenly distributed, as seen in poor employment and per capita income stats in some Congress-ruled states. While Congress criticizes Modi on inflation, data shows BJP governments have managed inflation effectively. Within months BJP-led NDA government came to power in 2014, inflation dropped to 6.67% from 10%. In 2015, it went below 5% at 4.91%, followed by 4.95% in 2016, 3.33% in 2017, 3.94% in 2018 and 3.73% in 2019.
(1/n) Inflation Peaks with Congress in Power
- NDA (1999-2004): Avg inflation 4.1%
- UPA-I (2004-2009): Avg inflation 5.8%
- UPA-II (2009-2014): Avg inflation 10.4%
- NDA (2014-present): Avg inflation 4.7%

● Over the past 25 years, inflation peaked under Congress due to economic mismanagement. In contrast, the NDA has kept inflation within RBI’s target of 4% (+/-2%). Congress has no moral ground to protest inflation when the NDA has consistently managed it better.

Need for Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed Rail Corridor

Congress persistently lives in a deluded state downplaying Bharat’s capability. While Congress questions the necessity of Bullet Train Project, here are some points for them to reflect on:

Even back in 2013, trains in China, Germany, Italy, Japan and South Korea were running at 300 km/hour and 320 km/hour in France.
(1/n)Image Japanese first Shinkansen trains to enter service in 1964, now classed as the 0 series, had a maximum operating speed of 220 km/h, while today India’s Gatimaan Express can reach to 160 km/h (99 mph), and the Vande Bharat Express is the fastest train in India and has the fastest top design speed of 180 km/h (110 mph), read that again and think why we need a Bullet Train.

The Indian Railway started working on high speed trains in the 2000s. If not for Congress not supporting such visionary projects, neither the cost would have risen so much nor would the project be delayed for nearly 3 decades. It is because of Congress’ lack of action and inability to fund “The High speed rail project” that the construction cost for Pune-Mumbai-Ahmedabad corridor has risen from Rs 49,076 crore to 2 Lakh Crore.

India has made tremendous strides in ramping up the capacity of renewable energy in the last ten years.

Here is a thread on REAL FACTS about all that was achieved and what is going to be achieved in the coming future.
(1/n) In 2015, India made a commitment to the world. At the COP 21 summit organised by the United Nations, India promised to achieve 40% of its installed electricity capacity from non-fossil energy sources by 2030. But, thanks to the commitment of our Government, it could be done by 2021 itself, 9 years earlier than the promised period.

By the time UPA left office, only 28% of the total installed power capacity was from renewable sources. Today, it has increased to over 43% under the NDA Government.

From getting basic things like the Tata Nexon EV's maximum range wrong to the absurd assumption that all the power consumed by EV is thermal powered (absurd to say the least) this thread is full of loopholes and misinformation that this handle now specialises in. Let's look at some of them: (1/10) The shift from Internal Combustion vehicles to EVs isn't an overnight switch but a gradual shift towards sustainable mobility. (2/10)

Five instances in recent memory that would help us recollect the great sense of respect that @inckerala has, for women, colleagues and elders within their own party.
A minute session of introspection can do a world of wonders before you embark on imparting GYAN to our youth! 1) Ahmad Patel addressed as 'Aluminum Patel' and Sonia Ji, as 'Madamma' by their own Parliamentarian K Muraleedharan.

This thread by the @/INCKerala handle is full of misrepresentations of facts and is trying to paint a false picture of the usefulness of a bullet train. The Congress cannot comprehend that Bharat can be a true global leader. Its povertarian mindset has stifled India's ambitions and held back its potential. The Congress is now spreading false narratives against the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train, which was taken up in the national interest. In stark contrast, the Modi Government has spearheaded an economic revolution, dramatically expanding infrastructure projects like roads, railways, and ports while balancing these advancements with necessary welfare measures. The Congress, however, perpetually hindered economic growth and prosperity under the guise of welfarism, keeping India trapped in poverty. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train is a visionary project which will reduce the travel time between the two cities to just 2 hours. This will have immense benefits in terms of decongesting the city, enabling people to commute seamlessly to the city. The narrow perspective of INC towards the project is preventing them from understanding that the bullet train project is a promise of real estate development of Dombivli, Thane, Kalyan and so many others.

Metroman E. Sreedharan, accused Govt of Kerala for trying to bypass the Railway Board by offering to bear the entire cost of the Silver Line project, the semi-high speed railway line, from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod. This project is a complete folly @RailMinIndia

#Krail @RailMinIndia The claim that SilverLine would be completed by 2025 shows how ignorant the project agency is.“Even the best executing agency in the country, such as the DMRC, will take 8 to 10 years for completing such a project", said E Sreedharan.
