Wow. Travis McMichael guilty of malice murder of Ahmaud Arbery.
Travis McMichael also guilty of felony murder (counts 2-5) and aggravated assault (counts 6-7), false imprisonment (8).
Gregory McMichael found not guilty of malice murder, but guilty of felony murder.
Greg McMichael guilty on 8 of 9 counts.
William Bryan found not guilty of malice murder, not guilty of 1 count felony murder, guilty on all other felony counts. Guilty of aggravated assault and false imprisonment, plus attempt to commit a felony.

Judge to Justin Clark in Trump/NARA hearing: "isn't the person who is best able and in a position to determine the executive privilege the executive?"

Clark: "I don't agree with that."

This isn't going well for him so far.
"The separation of powers issue...I find hard to discern here because in a rare instance, the executive branch and the legislative branch are in agreement," the judge says.
"I don't see why the separation of powers argument that you are talking about exists," she adds.

This @perrybaconjr column on the sins of Politico is spot on at some points, but I would respectfully suggest that he has overlooked a significant problem that no one with any juice at any outlet seems to want to change. 1/

Here’s the problem: Being right often gets you nowhere, being wrong gets you promoted.

As one of the reporters he writes about as having been “without such access” to lying Trump administration officials over the course of 2020, I would argue that the publications that… 2/
…ignored the signs that led to 1/6 haven’t made any effort to make any changes in how they hire and promote that take into account the extent to which most major publications failed to recognize the danger we were in.
