excited for @uaustinorg to figure out whether it's a traditional liberal arts college or the unprecedented opposite of a traditional liberal arts college
This guy's no help
the idea seems to just be cribbing a lot of liberal arts boilerplate, deleting references to equity or diversity, and asking: "what if podcasts were think tanks and think tanks were academic programs?"
anyway, I'm going to suggest that if transparent scams like the University of Austin have any value to human existence whatsoever, it might be to spur those of us who might still have some power to make and keep our "real" universities as real as we can.

I've been tenured for a decade at the university my father dropped out of in his early 20s and the Hall Building escalators have been broken in one way or another the *entire* time
this is what le patrimoine means to me
considered against the vicissitudes of political and social change in Canada since Confederation, the brokenness of these campus facilities is a tradition of no mean standing, and merits textbook coverage as such
the cloud just means there is no boundary between work and not work
your own movements are increasingly irrelevant
this is the dream
just realizing now that the real timeframe for my book was the historical period in which radical mobility and not the radical irrelevance of mobility was the cutting edge
