Don't stress about the Twitter Algorithm and the Best Time to tweet.

I grew to 18,000 followers staying calm.

9 Important lessons I learned the hard way so you don't have to.

THREAD 🧵 ↓
1. If your content is good, It will skyrocket on its own no matter what.

My tweets have gone viral with ZERO planning.

Focus on providing value and giving your best shot.

Don't worry about the things which are not in your control i.e Twitter Algo
2. Don't Post for Virality

Don't write for going viral.

If you fall into that trap, you will never grow.

I kept on posting every day for 6 months and engaging with others.

Note:
The content you think will go viral will NEVER go viral.
3. Inspire only ONE

The Twitter algorithm will never show all your tweets to all followers so stop worrying about it.

Even if you have a small following, It's completely fine If one person is getting value out of it.

If you inspire one, you already won it. Congratulations!
4. Be yourself

Don't tweet thinking what your followers will think.

Promote your skills and products.

Even if your follower unfollows you, You anyways don't want them.

Have your own style of writing.

If someone unfollows it's nice, you are reaching your target audience.
5. Tweet to Improve

With each tweet I post I focus also on improving writing and gaining more knowledge.

Your content is good but if you can't convey it to your audience it's of no use.

Tweet to level up your writing skills, it's what matters the most.
6. Stop measuring follower count every day

Keep doing your best, good things take time.

I've been tweeting for 6 months now.

Keep posting and expect nothing in return.

You cannot stay unnoticed forever.

You will shine one day.

Don't lose hope when the end is near.
7. Share your personal stories

Share your learning, mistakes, etc it will get you more impressions and followers.

Tweet everything you have learned 6 months back.

Many people who are starting their journey today will find it interesting.
8. There is Life beyond Twitter

Don't keep thinking about what should I tweet today.

It's fine if you don't have new tweet ideas every single day.

Retweet your old tweets somedays.

Don't overstress on the content, RELAX
9. Enjoy the process

If your goal is ONLY to increase followers you will never be able to hit that.

Make connections.

Engage with other people in the community.

Have fun, that is what matters the most.
