Victims and survivors of chemical weapons are not just numbers, they are human beings, who deserve to stand by them and stand in solidarity with them, and strive to be like the last person to be exposed to the use of chemical weapons. #لا_تخنقوا_الحقيقة #Donotsuffocatetruth
OPCW has decided that November 30 will be the International Day of Solidarity with Victims of Chemical Weapons. As it stated,"The global norm for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons is not only a legal agreement but also a moral declaration of human dignity, to ensure a future
without chemical weapons."
On the twenty-first of April 2015,the member states of OPCW held a meeting in Ypres, Belgium,on the occasion of the centenary of the first use of chemical weapons, which occurred during the First World War and led to the killing and damage to the health
of millions of people.
The Syrian regime used chemical weapons (with Russian political and military protection) against the Syrian people more than two hundred times, killing 1,510 people, and wounding tens of thousands.
We seek to mobilize local and international resources to stand in solidarity with the victims of chemical weapons, to shed light on the chemical massacres committed by the Syrian regime with Russian complicity, and expose and prosecute those responsible. #Donotsuffocatetruth
It is the right of the victims for the world to stand up for them and to acknowledge what happened, and thus the justice scale may be able to heal their tragedy and prevent new massacres from happening to others, whether in Syria or anywhere in the world. #Donotsuffocatetruth

Nivin Hotary, on 22 March
Recently, me and Maya got used to sleeping besides each other. During most of the nights the palm of my hand would be over her ear.
I try to stop the terrifying sound of [explosive] barrels and missiles from scaring her while she's asleep.
This night is exceptionally crazy. My hand hurts as I cover Maya's ear so she could sleep and not hear the sounds, the sounds are relentless not stopping for even a second.
Fighter jets, helicopters, and rocket launchers.
Nearby and far away sounds.
All those around me are tense. Fear is in their eyes but we are trying to hide it. Women in one place and men in another.
