Hey, I'm back with a handy thread on Venus Retrograde. There is one coming up in December.

First, let's figure out Venu- 2nd planet in the solar system+ brightest planet in our sky. It revolves around the Sun in a direction which is opp to Earth's

In a Venus Retrograde, Venus doesn't move backwards, but slows down vis-a-vis Earth (unlike say Mercury). This is due to its unique way of revolving around the Sun.

Venus, called Shukra in Vedic Astrology, has a certain energy (see pic). It is actually quite beautiful! 💕💖

Venus Retrograde occurs every 18 months and some astrologers believe it is more impactful than Mercury retrograde because of Venus' proximity to Earth and it being comparable in size to Earth.

So we can expect some slow downs in the areas it rules.

Venus rules love & relationships, beauty, luxury, material possessions, finances and art/artistic pursuits.

So during a retrograde, one may notice that these areas may get heavily impacted.

Venus Retrograde's ill effects:

- Break-ups, if r'ship is headed that way (nothing to fear if r'ship is solid)
- Financial mistakes/wrong decisions
- Unnecessary expenditure causing buyer's remorse
- Bad beauty decisions (esp related to hair)
- Botched beauty procedures

So here are some dos and don'ts -

Do:
* Relfect on yourself, your r'ship goals, personal goals
* Be ready to hear from exes & give them a chance to explain
* Go easy on your partner
* Work on your r'ships and watch them flourish
* Listen to your intuition

* Heart Chakra meditation & balancing
* Stick to old regimen for hair & beauty
* Evaluate every aspect before making financial decisions/incurring high expenses
* Rest, relax and get extra sleep
* Expect delays

Now for some Don'ts:

- Don't take harsh r'ship decisions
- Don't give in to impulse buying
- Don't get haircuts/hair procedures which are different from your current look
- Don't try new products or regimen for skin, hair, nails, etc
- Don't be hard on yourself

Now I end this thread with info on the upcoming Venus Retrograde starting from Dec 19th 2021 to January 29, 2022. It lasts for 40 days and 40 nights. And is happening in Capricorn this time.
