For James Fields in Charlottesville, Jake Gardner in Omaha, and Rittenhouse in Kenosha, prosecutors cited their private remarks and social media to cast them as racially motivated terrorists. But not so with Darrell Brooks in Waukesha, who killed more than all three *combined* 1/
Brooks is the only one who didn't kill in self-defense and unlike Fields, can't even make the case that it was an accident. Judging by his criminal record and social media, his is the strongest case of terrorism. Fields and Rittenhouse didn't even have criminal records 2/
But the establishment consensus is that Brooks' political views and social media are--according to everyone from the media to the pro BLM Waukesha police chief and Republicans like Ron Johnson-- irrelevant, off limits, "don't politicize" 3/
The more you consider the Darrell Brooks story the more significant it becomes in light of the fact that it undermines powerful narratives that underpin the establishment's legitimacy and consensus 4/

Darrell Brooks runs his car into a crowd of people high on media narratives about white malevolence, so Ibram Kendi publishes an article afterward mocking the idea that people might die as a result of anti-white race narratives. Dismissing white deaths is actually peak CRT
The solution isn't debate, it isn't advancing The Better Ideas, it is using power where we have it to deprive people like Kendi of positions of influence and power
I almost feel bad for Kendi because you can tell he is a genuinely dumb person promoted beyond his capabilities because he says things that shitlibs and race hustlers love to hear

Despite not having a previous criminal history, James Fields got 2 life sentences without the possibility of parole plus an additional 419 years for killing 1 person at Charlottesville. On the other hand, even before Darrell Brooks killed six in Waukesha... 1/
...he got out on $500 bail after shooting his nephew in July 2020 over an old cell phone, then got out *again* this Nov. because his bail had been set "inappropriately low" at $1,000 after he tried to kill a woman with a car. Brooks had an outstanding sex offender case, too 2/
But despite all this, a prosecutor still felt the need to explain and justify why Brooks' bail was set so high after he killed six and injured nearly 50 people. Like Brooks is part of a sacred protected class and we have to spell out why his bail was set so high 3/

My latest column: the Waukesha killer's radical political views, the prosecutor who set his bail "inappropriately low" once bragged that people might die due to his policies and launched a pre-dawn raid against conservative political opponents, and more.

The media wants the Waukesha killings to be forgotten for obvious reasons. On the one hand, Darrell Brooks is a poster child of someone radicalized by the media's anti-white race narratives. Everything we know about his views confirms this. 1/
On the other hand, Brooks killed and injured more people in Waukesha 2021 than James Fields did in Charlottesville 2017. There's also a stronger case for Brooks' intentionality than Fields, undermining the idea of "Charlottesville as racist 9/11." Waukesha was *much* worse 2/

Miami Vice is an aesthetically pleasing movie and I think Michael Mann still does the best shootouts because they're technically good but not overchoreographed
Not necessarily a "shootout" but the famous "where's my briefcase" scene from Collateral comes to mind
The famous Heat shootout is kind of replayed in Miami Vice at the end but it's at night so it doesn't have the same effect, though the shoot and move to cover is obviously still there

Hard to find a copy today but these are not only the best written articles and columns I've ever read, they constitute the basis of a coherent Middle American radicalism. Once you finish it, all of our most important political problems make sense ImageImage
Francis was a disciple of James Burnham, who also understood our political problems better and sooner than others. Francis quotes him below: Image
You can pretty much stamp each of these with today's date and they would be just as if not more relevant. The problem is that you end up frustrated that other people haven't read them

The GOP will blame Biden, and they would be correct—but the GOP was just as eager to bring masses of unvetted people into the US. Ben Sasse and Mitch McConnell said they would be glad to have them in their neighborhoods, presumably out of sight, a few blocks over, nearer to you.
Even the Waukesha incident follows his pattern: GOP tries to beat the Democrats at criminal justice reform, everyone from Newt Gingrich to Trump and Ron Johnson are pushing jailbreak bills and bail reform. Post Waukesha? "Democrats did this!"
The Republican Party's official position was that Biden messed up the withdrawal from Afghanistan but we could definitely trust him to properly screen everyone coming over here and only a FREEDOM HATING BIGOT would disagree contra.substack.com/p/against-cons…
