This is what's called "Biting the hand that feeds". When Mamata was still a struggling activist, it was BJP which identified her potential & turned her into a mass-leader. Vajpayee personally used to visit her house regularly to mentor her for hours, giving her advice on how 👇
to take on d communists, and in the process of nurturing her, he went on to even become a family friend.BJP also lent all forms of support to her, by sending BJP workers to participate in her protests against Communists & all these helped her leapfrog into politics in a big way👇
These workers knew dt it was very risky to put their lives at stake for her but still supported her & provided manpower to help her take on d communists.Vajpayee personally recommended her name & advised her to take up a significant role at national level during d NDA coalition👇
so dt she could sharpen her political skills further & advance her political career within d shortest possible time. However, as soon as she gained some prominence, she promptly kicked her mentors & chartered a new path for herself. Today, forget about being grateful to them👇
she is now targeting the same RSS/BJP workers who had actually taken such huge risks to support her (against communists) 2 decades ago, because she believes in the ideology of "biting the hand that feeds"!
