At different points throughout human history, media formats like television, movies, radio, and even books were considered the scourge of society. Today, gaming has taken up that mantle.
But just like in the past, we know games are not the bogeyman they're often positioned as.

We're seeing a world of gaming and #esports divided into the haves and have nots. The digital divide plays out in homes, schools, and communities around the world.
Despite my love for it, the gaming industry and community is far from perfect. We're here to lead the charge in addressing all forms of toxicity in gaming. We want gaming to be as well respected as other media industries, but that means cleaning up the negativity that festers.
It's up to us - parents, educators, and gamers - to work towards a global gaming community that prioritizes health, kindness, and equitable opportunity. We can do this. We will do this. How? Because #TogetherWeCOPE
