Outright dismissing drug charges does not mean they're "not going to stick"
Everyone's charges are presumed to "not stick" until proven otherwise.

That's known as "innocent until proven guilty"
.@SAKimFoxx office common practice is to dismiss small quantity drugs cases.
Then the same people who advocate for that policy also complain that ppl are being charged but not fully prosecuted and convicted and use it as evidence that people are allegedly being falsely arrested.
Then they'll use it as evidence that we need to change "the system"

"The system" wasn't anywhere near the level of disarray until these people got into office.

They destroy it to implement their own twisted version of systems. That's the goal.
The strategy of these so-called "reformists" and advocates of "social justice" is to create the problem within the system that has worked for 200 yrs+ and offer their supposed solution.

You mean people who commit property crimes also commit violent ones?

We've said this. Criminals are criminals because they have antisocial tendencies.

The same guy stealing from Walgreens is the guy that'll rob you, carjack you, stab you, shoot you.
The guy peeing on the street is a serial identity thief.
The guy with a suspended license is the same guy who carries guns.
The guy who panhandles is the same guy who rapes.
The guy who carries a little bit of drugs is the guy who carjacks people.
The correlation isn't in the type of crime.

It's in the antisocial, criminal behavior.

People who can't/don't adhere to societal standards and norms tend to do so across the board, up to and including the most heinous of antisocial behaviors like murdering.

Too much crime to discuss, not enough time, energy or sufficient attention span from the public.

A 57 year old UberEATS driver was shot and killed near UIC/ABLA homes during a carjacking today.
Additionally, there was a car taken in a carjacking in the 2600 block of W Flournoy (not far from that homicide) and 2 male Blacks robbed someone at Chase Bank near Central/Montrose and then someone at Irving Park/Cicero outside a Currency Exchange.
Primetime for robberies/carjackings is approaching but it seems it's starting early this year.

Brace yourselves.

After we criticized @TomSchuba and @MHendricksonCST for essentially putting the blame on police (despite there being evidence they jumped every hoop to attempt to charge the man who killed Serenity Broughton), they've written this.

Take a look.

chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2021/9/2…
"While previous news accounts highlighted the disagreement between police and prosecutors, the new revelations include documentation of the extent cops went to pursue the case without Foxx’s involvement..."
"While law enforcement authorities were feuding, the suspect was released from custody and now can’t be found, according to a law enforcement source..."
