Thread: Let’s talk about why the Oxford HS shooter was charged with terrorism, which is incredibly rare, yet much overdue. This is what I teach so I’d like to break it down in a factual, apolitical way

3/8 “An act that would be a violent felony under the laws of this state, whether or not committed in this state.”
4/8 “An act that the person knows or has reason to know is dangerous to human life.
5/8 “An act that is intended to intimidate or coerce a civilian population or influence or affect the conduct of government or a unit of government through intimidation or coercion."

7/8Wisconsin law is worded VERY differently thank MI law and the main focus of it is intent. I believe what he did was terroristic, but WI law isn’t conducive or efficient in charging him with that……perhaps we look at developing a federal law against DT
