dang re reading my first tweets where i was insane about ximeng and started writing my first fic is crazy cause i wrote a whole thread outline to use for the fic when it could have just been a thread fic TBH
I do be thinkin about taking proximity down and rewriting it a lot cause long fics arent really my thing! i could just write specific scenes based on the thread and call it a day (i might do this)
I think my writing style has gonna more developed since may... so i think id be okay with doing that now
“Shi Mei please wait you don’t have to leave!” Xue Meng never thought chasing a blind man would be so hard, Shi Mei’s movements hand’t been hindered by his lack of sight in the slightest. If anything it seemed his rage only made his steps lighter and faster.
Xue Meng’s breathing was heavy, he’s chased Shi Mei from across the main sect hall after seeing him standing at the entrance, as if he could see the ridiculous Mei Hanxue manhandling Xue Meng. It was more likely that he heard Mei Hanxue making his depraved jokes again.
Always at Xue Meng’s expense, the youngest Hanxue twin would make inappropriate comments, despite knowing where Xue Meng’s heart lay. All in good fun, he had promised, until Shi Mei had had to of heard them. Shi Mei had turned as swiftly as a breeze, and all but flew from them.
"You idiot, don't you understand when to stop?" Song Lan was scowling more than usual as he cleaned the floor of Xue Yang's trashed room. He didn't like to scold Xue Yang when he was like this, but the issue at hand was too concerning.
Xue Yang had a lot of issues, a lot of trauma, Song Lan knew that when they got together. Xue Yang acted out a lot, but he was relatively tame. It wasn't until they went shopping together once that Song Lan noticed Xue Yang bought candy more than real food.
He thought it was because Xue Yang was younger than him, a childlike urge he hadn't kicked, but then Song Lan noticed that Xue Yang finished the large bag of hard candy without a couple weeks. That was when he realised why Xue Yang was so tame save for the sugar.
She never would have thought she would get this far, honestly. The notion of finding love, Hua Cheng had considered it too far gone. Her emotions had been frayed, destroyed by the only woman she had given her all to. A distant memory that burned the sensation of touch if her mind
as a negative thing, a long since passed few years that had made her wish she had never felt in her life for a while. It was so long ago before now, before university, before meeting her roommate, He Xuan.
Hua Cheng never wanted to feel that long lost pang in her chest again. One that reminded her of brown hair and golden eyes and a smile that she worshipped as if it held the moon and the stars. A pain that clenched her heart like an iron fist and shook her so violently.
There were secrets that the jianghu kept under tight lock and key, especially with the Wens on the rise through the ranks, building their forces, tampering with their evils.
There were just some things that the larger sects couldn’t let be known by anyone but themselves. The “amnesiac heir” incident was most definitely under heavy lock and key. The prestigious Gusu Lan sect, and the fiery Yunmeng Jiang had a serious internal issue.
During a joint mission between the two sects, some sort of covert operation to uncover the Wen sect’s newest plans, something went horribly wrong when the two heirs were split from their parties. When they came to, however, they insisted they belonged to the other’s home.
