It is a simple question. 95% of the rail runs in Malaysian soil. Why the hell Singapore is so busy trying to claim a 50% stake in the Asset Co and Op Co? That's clear encroachment into our sovereignty.

Lee Kuan Yew fought so hard with Dr Mahathir to drive Malaysia out of just 30km KTM railway that ran in Singapore. He connived with Daim to sign a POA in 1990 but Dr Mahathir rejected it only for Najib to give up our rights over the land, which had 999 years lease.
Not only Najib gave up on the KTM land, the same scoundrel signed a deal with Lee Kuan Yew's son to practically surrender over 300 km of rail track inside Malaysia. What a traitor he has been for Malaysia yet people call him Bosskur!
We really need to thank Muhyiddin in this for cancelling a disaster to our sovereignty. The sovereignty was tested when Muhyiddin wanted to change the track to KLIA, Singapore vehemently objected. That was a wake up call.
As clueless as Muhyiddin, he saw the danger. It was better to pay the compensation due to foolish Najib's misadventure rather than surrender our sovereignty. Money can be earned but freedom and honour is hard to be restored.
HSR to Singapore is bad deal. Najib signed in desperation trying to contain the 1MDB investigations in Singapore that was getting closer and closer to Najib. He had to compromise our sovereignty to get Lee Hsien Loong to pull a curtain over it. And he did.
Anwar's accusation that Muhyiddin pulled down the HSR to have cronies don't hold water. Even under the current arrangement, Muhyiddin could have made billions because the construction of infra in respective region falls under the responsibility of respective government.
The joint tender only comes in for Asset Co, which will own the rail system and Op Co, which will operate the trains. It is at the construction stage cronies make billions and that is pretty much under the control of Malaysia and Singapore Governments for their respective areas.
Hope Opposition fellas like @anwaribrahim and @guanenglim stop parroting Najib lah. NAJIB IS A DISASTER FOR MALAYSIA!
Spend some time on the structure and spot the flaws. 
Our sovereignty was sold by Najib. You can't find another stupid and corrupt person like him.
