A 31-year-old man from Kamanamsim in Litein, Kericho county is in custody after he was caught in an unnatural act with a calf.
Kennedy Lamar, was arrested after the calf’s owner Fancy Langat, raised alarm attracting the whole village, after she heard her calf groaning
at around 5am. An alarmed Langat who thought a predator had attacked her livestock leapt from her bed, opened her door and stealthily tiptoed towards her cattle boma. Suddenly, she saw a dark silhouette of a man moving away from the groaning calf and took cover on the
ground a few metres away. Intrigued, the woman moved closer to the silhouette only to discover that it was her brother in-law Lomar, who was stark naked after having committed the abominable act. Dismayed villagers thronged the scene, as women watched the bizarre incident
never witnessed in the village, from the periphery. They conversed in low tones, as they shook their heads in disbelief, while others tried to keep inquisitive children at bay. The kids had braved the early morning cold to catch a glimpse of the scene.
The villagers led by their area chief effected citizen’s arrest and escorted the suspect to Litein police station where he’s currently being held before arraignment tomorrow.

Detectives in Nakuru are hunting down two separate gangs that have become the nightmare of residents in Bondeni and Kiamaina areas of the new city.

In one of the incidents at Kiamaina early morning yesterday, a 49-year-old man was violently robbed at his home's gate when a
gun-toting gang accosted him after parking his car.

The unknown number of assailants waylaid the victim as he locked the gate, inflicting multiple cuts on his arms, knees and back, before escaping with Sh 100,000 cash and a Samsung phone worth Sh 60,000.
The attackers had then fired two rounds to scare off responders as they bolted out of the scene, leaving the victim at the mercy of emergency medical aid. Luckily, a swift response by Kiugoine police and neighbours saved the victim's life as he is recuperating at a Nakuru

Two rival church groups were at daggers drawn yesterday, as they fought over the leadership of a house of worship located in the upmarket Kileleshwa suburbs, in the country’s capital. Lavington Methodist church was turned into a battlefield as the clergymen who are ironically
called to shepherd the Lord’s flock and nourish the souls of men, went for each others’ throats. In a vicious battle not witnessed in the neighborhood said to be home to the city’s upper class, unprintable words were exchanged as the two rival factions fought for control
of the sanctuary. One group led by the incoming bishop Rev Dr Joseph Kanyamu accompanied by over 60 congregants, forcefully gained entry into the church’s office by breaking its glass doors, in a bid to eject bishop Joseph Ntombura whose term had expired.

The 2NK Sacco driver who was shown the door by his employer after he reported drunk school children to police officers, met the Director of Criminal Investigations, George Kinoti, last evening. John Muthoni, had earlier been invited by the DCI chief upon receiving news of his Image
sacking, that was condemned by many Kenyans online. The discouraging news had spread on social media like wildfire. We had on November 14, #Fichuad how the driver had undergone a difficult time trying to dissuade the 7 boys and 7 girls from indulging in drugs, Image
