Pursuing a case where the victim hired his KCT 250T Toyota Axio on 26th July, 2020 to one of the suspects; George Morara Aboki for three days but who disappeared since, detectives established that the syndicate was tampering with the car tracking gadgets before disposing them...

In the intelligence-led operation, 42-yr-old John Kimani & Pacificah Kemunto Nyakundi aged 39yrs were also arrested being accomplices of the 50-yr-old George Morara.
Following a tip-off from members of the public, two MPESA fraudsters who have been terrorizing residents of Machakos County & it’s environs have been nabbed by a combined team of @PoliceKE and @DCI_Kenya detectives based at Machakos.
The two suspects; 23-year-old Kevin Sagini Oroko and 27-year-old Dominic Otiso Nyabuto were apprehended from their hideout at Miwani Estate within Machakos town.

Three Robbery w/Violence suspects who have been terrorizing Kapseret bodaboda operators in Uasin Gishu County were last night arrested & three motorcycles recovered at Soy Likuyani following a swift pursuit on them after they attacked and robbed a victim, leaving him unconscious.
On gaining consciousness, the victim, whose motorcycle Reg. no. KMFA 484W was robbed after the gang of four armed with machetes attacked him at Berur area, alerted the police who jointly with members of the public pursued the suspects with the aid of a tracker fixed on the bike.
The three suspects; Zedrick Mulama, Robert Safari and Silas Lugalia were all cornered and arrested at Soy, and upon rigorous search three motorcycles Reg. nos. KMEW 297D, KMFA 484W & KMEW 390U were also recovered.

Following the ongoing investigations into the murder of Kelvin Ombati Omwenga, @DCI_Kenya Detectives from Kilimani last night arrested Congolese national Yatha Bahati Josue being a person of interest & suspect in the said murder case.
Forensic analysis by the DCI-CRIB triggered the manhunt where the suspect was nabbed at his residence at LER Apartments within Kilimani area in Nairobi.
The suspect was arraigned today at Milimani Law Courts and released on Ksh. 100,000 cash bail, after custodial orders sought by the detectives were denied.

Following the gruesome murders of two men;54-year-old Allan Amadi & Gideon Habwe in June 2020, Four robbery with violence suspects believed to be members of a criminal gang terrorizing Vihiga County residents have in the past three days been arrested by @DCI_Kenya Detectives.
In the first case, on 10th June 2020 a gang armed with crude weapons attacked Mr. Allan Amadi who was a night guard at Bei Bora Agrovet within Kima market in Vihiga, striking his head with a machete and killing him instantly.
In pursuit of the perpetrators, the CR&IB and Luanda-based detectives narrowed down on two key suspects; Francis Apeli Anemba and Samuel Mwangi Opicha aged 25 and 23 yrs respectively, flushing them out of their hideout at Majengo within Vihiga County and arrested them.
It entails receiving missed calls from international numbers you don’t recognise on a mobile/fixed-line phone. The fraudsters generating the calls hope that their expensive international numbers will be called back so that they can profit.
The term Wangiri is Japanese for “one (ring) and cut.” And as the name would imply, it’s a genuinely international scam, with victims distributed across the world. Warnings about the scam have appeared in Kenyan, the U.K., Canadian, Irish, and New Zealand media, among others.
One Ring to Rule Them All
Wangiri Scam relies upon ones innate curiosity. Many people would instinctively return a missed call, even from a mysterious international number. And the repetitive nature of the scam adds to the intrigue and pressure.
A Prison warder based at Industrial Area Remand Prison namely Nafataly Muturi and Police Constable Denise Onyango based at the Service Central Stores in Industrial Area have been arrested by DCI detectives based at Makandara.
The two were arrested following an incident where the Service Central Store was broken into and over 2,222 pairs of military boots & other government stores were stolen.

Tom Ouma Aero; a notorious drug trafficker who has been operating with impunity in Nairobi was today arrested by a combined team of @DCI_Kenya Transnational Organised Crime Unit(TOCU), Special Services Unit(SSU) & Anti Narcotics Unit(ANU) detectives from his hideout in Utawala.
His arrest was in connection with the seizure of 368.5 kilograms of cannabis sativa valued at over Ksh 11 million from motor vehicle Registration Number KCQ 741V that was intercepted along Nakuru - Nairobi Highway on 14th August, 2020.
The suspect is also believed to sponsor gangs in Korogocho, Huruma and Dandora to protect his business of drug trafficking.
Nabbed also during the early morning operation were two of his associates namely Paul Ochieng Otieno and Stephen Wandera Barasa.
Martin Kikwau Mutangili, a suspect of Personation & Fraud who has been defrauding vulnerable members of public while posing as a civil servant working in various Govt ministries was last night arrested by @DCI_Kenya TOCU detectives in an operation at Syokimau, Machakos County.
Responding to numerous complaints from the victims, the Transnational Organized Crime Unit (TOCU) detectives launched a manhunt for the 39-yr-old suspect, netting him after hours of rigorous search at house no. 2 Block F of Prissy Apartments within Syokimau.
Search in his house led to the recovery of:

21-Year-Old Leonard Kamanga Kamau; a murder suspect, who on 19th March 2020 brutally killed the late Ms. Tabitha Wanjiku at Umoja One in Nairobi has been arrested today by @DCI_Kenya Detectives after resurfacing in Nairobi from his hideout in Mombasa.
The 25-year-old victim, who was a househelp at plot number A20, was found by fellow tenants lying in a pool of blood with her throat slit with a kitchen knife, a day after the two kids she was tending were picked by their guardian and was granted some off-duty.
Following forensic leads, a team of DCI Buruburu and CRIB detectives earlier pursued the suspect to Mombasa, but he managed to escape only to find his way back to Nairobi yesterday, the 7th of August 2020.
FIVE members of a suspected criminal gang were last night ambushed and arrested in a rental house at Zanzibar area in Rurii-Nakuru County, where two pairs of military uniforms, rolls of bhang, bottles of alcohol and several sim cards were found.
