@MintPressNews The OTF talks about Internet freedom a lot.

But when it comes down to it, their idea of "freedom" means the freedom for the US govt to spam people around the world with Radio Free Asia and Voice of America content.

@MintPressNews Every member of the OTF's board was a high-level govt functionary, including ambassadors, PNAC neocons and Iraq and Afghan war planners.

Is this really the sort of organization we can trust to make our privacy apps?

@MintPressNews The OTF has been crucial to US-backed regime change attempts in Cuba and Belarus, helping activists communicate with each other, even when the internet goes down.

They also channelled millions of dollars of cash to the leaders of the Hong Kong protests to keep them going.

@MintPressNews Does that mean OTF-sponsored apps like Signal and Tor are sus?
