The key to “left” MAGA is the belief that Trump is somehow both not responsible for any bad thing that he did but does get the credit for every good thing Biden does that he didn’t
It's a real tragedy how despite his firm economically populist and dovish convictions, Trump was forced to be a bloodthirsty militarist with Paul Ryan's economic policies by the executive officials he appointed and his close congressional allies

What would make this Seahawks season REALLY depressing would be if they didn't even have their first round pick because they traded it for a replaceable box safety the coaching staff has no idea how to use

I love Pete Carroll, who led the only championship team I've rooted for since high school, but really, it's over
Given my abysmal taste in teams, the "best coach/manager of big league team I've rooted for" I think has only three serious candidates:
For work *with the team* I think it's Pete, for total body of work I'd say Sutter-Williams-Carroll. Honorable mention to Bob Johnson, Felipe Alou, and Lou Pinella

Classic Murc's law. If conservatives wanted to use 1/6 rioters discovering how awful prison is to advocate for comprehensive reform rather than to just advocate for selective impunity, they would just...do that, and nothing liberals say can make them do the former
First, you think that many fewer people should be in prison and sentences should generally be less harsh, THEN you argue that a judge should not act like a Fox News grandpa during a criminal trial, make up your minds!

I am just a country political scientist but my view is that the bar for evaluating the Supreme Court should be set at least a weeeeee bit higher than "did not literally vote to make Donald Trump dictator"
And this goes triple when you yadda-yadda stuff like "Leaving the Voting Rights Act a smoking crater" with a quick half-sentence

Yup. Normally complaints that refs are "changing the outcome of the game" by making normal calls is silly. But this is actually a case of a ref drawing attention to themselves with a huge impact for no defensible reason whatsoever
Bad calls are part of the game but refs who think the games should revolve around them are the goddamned worst
