I am a bit bloody-minded on this so I contact my Health Protection Team. I insist on speaking to the team responsible for my child's school rather than accept the number for the Department of Education.

There were 4 children off at once in my child's class before half term. More than 10% of the class.
In his opinion,this is OK as there is a high level of community infection anyway.
On challenged that the outbreak level is 2 or more he said it is assessed on an individual basis
