My favorite part of that era was how his support peeled off like layers of an onion based solely on how long it took different cohorts of his supporters to recognize a scam artist, an internalized racist and a right winger.
He had good populist messaging though. But only in relation to mainstream Democrats horrible messaging. The right wingers who led his campaign are elitist fuckmonauts but they do actually study “gut” over logic and most Democrats are too stupid and comfortable to win
Like when I talk on here my word cloud is probably closer to Bernie and AOC. But when I talk to people in Queens on the street it’s closer to Yang (if he worked for Bernie and AOC).
